Italian Delicacies
This is delicious and authentic. I have enjoyed this brand since a child. It is soft and delicious. I could sit down and it the entire loaf.

Good but I've had better
The only detraction I found was dryness and not enough citron. The price we equal to the quality of the product. Yes i would by it again. I would use it for french toast.

La Florentine panettone is the BEST !!!!!!
I've tried & had many different brands of panettone and don't regard myself as a gourmet BUT.......both my wife & I agree that La Florentine is by far the best-flavored and richest tasting panettone on the market today. We've bought our panettones from italian dessert shops, big box stores, supermarkets, deli's etc but nothing compares to the La Florentine that we found at the local Shopper's food store (of all places) this past year. Right now, they're clearing them out at $4.49 ea! I bought one today to keep in the freezer to have during 2008. You can bet that that next year, we will be buying La Florentine, no question about it !!!!!!!Fast forward to 2013 / 2014 - I have found an equally good Panettone at my local Shop Rite food store! It is imported from Italy by the Wakefern Corporation and sold under the ShopRite name. They have two "styles" - original with raisins and another with cran-raisins. Both are as good as the LaFlorentine, easier to find and less expensive. They carried them well into March as well! Now we're into the 2015 season and I have been able (as of Nov 14th) to find LaFlorentine at TJ Max, Marshall's and Home Goods in the $9.00 range - high season. This week, ShopRite has its brand for sale until 11/21 for $3.99, limit 4ea. of 3 different kinds with a club card. Right now I'm enjoying the LaFlorentine. Will be shopping today for the ShopRite brands.....
