I have no clue how these work I just ordered them when the news was talking about nuclear war.I guess it's good to have these on the side for a bug out bag.So if there's ever a nuclear war and we survive a recommend taking one until you get out of the radiation zone

I have no idea whether these work and hope I never have a reason to find out. What I do know is that Vitamatic is an apparently reputable brand and these tablets are manufactured in the USA, so I feel comfortable relying on these if I never need to.For dosage information you should refer to the CDC's recommendations (google "CDC facts about potassium iodide"), but the short version is that if you're told to take them -- and only then -- the recommended dosage is 130 mg daily for adults (anyone at least 18) and for children at least 12 who weigh more than 150 pounds. For children 4-12 (and for those under 12-18 weighing 150 pounds or less) the recommended dosage is 65 mg, or half the "adult" dosage. And in all cases this is "for short-term use only (up to 10 days)" per the label on the bottle. Each tablet in these bottles contains a 65 mg dose, and each bottle contains 60 tablets, so a child would take one tablet a day and an adult two as appropriate, and that means each bottle represents a 10-day supply either for three adults or for two adults and two small children.Another reviewer stated that the listing is misleading because the front says there are 60 capsules in the bottle while the back says there are only 30, but that's not what it says. In fact, you can examine both sides of the label here on Amazon, and it clearly says on the back that a bottle contains 30 SERVINGS (not tablets) and that each serving is two tablets, so there's no discrepancy between the front and back: one tells how many tablets are in the bottle and the other identifies the number of adult "servings".Lastly, regarding the shelf life of these tablets, mine were received in July 2022 and have an expiration date of March 2025, so in theory they're only good for around two and a half years. However, if you research it you'll find that organizations including the FDA and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) determined the shelf life of potassium iodide (KI) tablets to be significantly longer than that when properly stored. For example, regarding whether it's safe to take expired tablets the answer on the NRC's "Frequently Asked Questions About Potassium Iodide" page says that they, "are inherently stable and do not lose their effectiveness over time". These are certainly affordable enough to replace every 2-3 years, but there's apparently no compelling need to do so if you're storing them the way you're supposed to.Anyway, I hope this information is helpful and that never have reason to take these tablets, but personally I'd rather have them and never need them than need them and not have them.

Fast delivery. Bought these to help my brain think I did something to prepare for nuclear war, God forbid. But really, what will these do to help after a major nuclear attack? Maybe help protect my thyroid for a few days or something like that? I find it hard to believe I had to order pills in case of radiation, in 2022. What a crazy decade this is unfolding to be. That said, the product looks to be well made and I really hope I never have to use it, but if I do I will (try to) update the review with those details.

Non-radioactive iodine loaded into your thyroid prevents uptake of further iodine, which will be radioactive if Biden causes WW III. The bad (radioactive) Iodine is rebuffed if your thyroid already has all the Iodine in needs. By keeping radioactive material our of your body you reduce the risk of thyroid cancer, and many other illnesses.I was around in 1962, when the Cuban MIssile Crisis happened. I never thought Biden would find a way to bring that back, on top of his economic depression his job-killing spree, his wild spending, and his Woke intolerance of anybody who does not think exactly as he does.

Good Idea.Hope they work, but I never find out.Despite all of media, there is rill risk this goes nuclear. Despite media, you probably wont die of radiation or blast, more likely starvation and the runs. What you possess will likely be all you have for a while. Nothing will be the same again.They have 5000 nukes, half tactical low radiation yield, half big boys. If this happens, there will be know internet and news for a while, nothing you can trust.

Came quickly. Bottle was not damaged and the seal was not broken. Arrived quickly.

One bottle was light so i opened it. There were only 16 tablets in the bottle, supposed to be 60. Other bottle Ok. Bought as a set of 2 bottles so returning both for same-item replacement. Hopefully its a One-Off mistake. 3 stars for now for the inconvenience of returning item. Otherwise no reason to not give 5 stars.

En realidad no se si me funciono o no me lo receto un doctor por el problema que tenia de falta de energía, se resolvio mi problema pero en realidad no se si esto me ayudo o no, pero en algo funciono , ya que no me hizo efectos negativos, asi que suponga que si es bueno para el cuerpo

Bit deceptive advertising, each tablet is 32.5mg not 65mgSo in the apocalypse 2 adults (4 pills each per day) and 1 child (2 pills per day) will require 10 pills per day total. Making this container enough for 6 days. Which I why I purchased 2. God speed everyone x

Misleading label - only 30 serving (2 tablets per serving) of 65mg per bottle. Normal label would expect 65mg per tablet.
