Husqvarna LC121P, 21 in. 163cc Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower

I ordered it through the Warehouse program at a discount. First off, Amazon customer service is great and returns of defective Warehouse items is an easy process. Both rear wheel height adjusters failed to work first out of the box, allowing the bottom of the mower to drop on to the floor. The adjustment components are so flimsy that if they were not broken upon purchase, they would be within a month or so of moderate use. How Husqvarna could let this go out to market with this problem is beyond comprehension. The latching tab is light and flimsy. The bolts that hold the adjustment mechanism were over tightened and thread stripped at the factory during assembly. This made any attempt at fixing without drilling out both mounting bolts impossible. It did not matter as the design is so bad it can't be repaired. This would be a great mower if it had a working rear wheel height adjuster. It is or will become soon to be junk instead. Five stars to Amazon customer service for the nearly painless product return.

NOT HAPPY with this mower!Purchased back in early fall, but didn't open box because Winter was just around the corner and living in Buffalo, NY. Well you never know. So we waited until now to open up.Upon opening we found a "C" ring (like a cotter pin) that hold mowing arm onto deck missing. Also like A LOT of other Reviewers of this mower, we also found the adjusting arms for the 2 back wheels not locking. So the back wheels can't be adjusted. After looking, we found out whoever assembled it, had put them on backwards (meaning the left should be over on the right and vica versa, they also had to be put into a vice and bent better so they would reach enough to allow the notch to lock itself into place.HUGE disappointment for we thought we were buying a top notch, "Cadillac" of lawnmowers with Husqvarna brand. Nope! We would of been better off going to Wal-Mart and purchasing an off brand. Would NOT recommend this mower to anyone!

The lawnmower would be perfet if the rear wheels would adjust like they are supposed to. It is a terrible design that just doesn't work. It is fixable by taking the rear wheel assembly appart and bending the 'spring' at a sharper angle. But this should not be needed in the first place.Other than the rear wheel issue this lawnmower is great. Starts on the first pull and runs great just like a husqvarna should. The design of the adjustable wheels is simply terrible and should not leave the factory the way they do.If you get this lawnmower for a screaming deal and have some mechanical skill go for it, otherwise pick a different design.

Well I bought this mower and it seems that the engineers were to lazy to bend back the piece to adjust how low or high you want the lawn mower so my dad just helped me take it apart and bend the pieces to the right angle and now it works fine but Husqurna needs to do a better job in fixing this problem with these lawnmowers but overall I’ve been having it for about three months now and it’s been working great!!

ok first and foremost overall this is a pretty powerful mower and I do like it however I can only give it 3stars because the wheel adjustments do not lock at all. We had to bend the lever to set the wheels because if not the mower would be to low and not work at all the way its suppose to. for the amount this mower cost it shouldn't have any defects and should be fixed before being sold to anyone going forward. I learned my lesson for buying an item like this online but will make the best of it for now.

Great motor, starts on first pull and is lightweight with lots of extras (bag, side chute choice). REALLY terrible in regards to the wheels: they do not lock in place! Found this to be a common theme in other reviews. MY issue seems to be limited to the left side, so I'm thinking of taking it to a dealer. What a pain in the butt though! VERY disappointed in the quality for the name and price.

Really disappointed. The rear left wheel height adjustment would not lock. I tried bending, took it off and tried to bend but still would not lock. I have an old Craftsman that never had this issue in 10 years of use and why have to adjust each wheel independently? I am pleased that I wil get a refund but will not geat another one like this. I really thought I was getting a quality product. I also noted that to change the oil the manual shows that you have to pour it out the topside oil input cap. To do that you have to remove the handles in order to change the oil. There does appear to be an oil plug in the underside but that is not what the manual shows. I am paying to have my grass cut while I go to buy a better mower.

really nice mower. easy setup right out of the box. added oil and gas and it started on first pull. the large wheels on the rear made for easy maneuvering and the ball bearings were a breeze to push. the individual wheel height adjustment is normally found on much more expensive mowers. my first mow of the season took about 2 hours of starting and stopping to empty the bagger and had no problems. the bagger capacity was just right. great purchase
