I feel very understood and validated while reading this book. I appreciate how it’s written by somebody who has actually experienced this condition in real life and has successfully recovered. Very accurate and informative so far - I’m about 25 pages in. Excited to start the activities which are mostly in the second half. Highly recommend this book and the price is very reasonable for what you get!

A very helpful tool
I am a mental health professional and have used this workbook on multiple occasions when meeting with clients. This book is not only useful for people who suffer with Depersonalization-derealization disorder, but it also contains very useful tools for those who have depression and anxiety disorders. The author has a great depth of knowledge about mindfulness and there several exercises in this book that are related to mindfulness practice. I especially love the sections on "Observing Your Thoughts" and "Processing Your Emotions." These are excellent exercises for challenging negative/ anxious thoughts. There are also very helpful sections on body awareness, mindful eating, grounding, mindful breathing, etc. If you are looking for a book that shares great insight into depersonalization/derealization and educates you on effective ways to cope with your symptoms, this is a must.

Bon ouvrage
Il s’agit d’un bon ouvrage pour parler des troubles de déréalisation et de dépersonnalisation avec de nombreux exercices à faire. La mindfulness est au cœur de cette méthode intéressante, rassurante mais qui ne va pas au-delà de ce qui est communément su pour aider davantage. Un bon outil mais qui aurait mérité d’être un peu approfondi.

Extremely helpful workbook
I can't recommend this book enough. I've read other books on dp and this is the first time I've actually been able to understand my symptoms. I had a few light bulb moments reading this and have been looking at my dp in a new light. I still need to continue with the worksheets and practices but just having this new understanding has given me so much hope and clarity. Thank you

A must have book you can refer to at anytime in your life!!
Great book, it’s like having your own therapist at your fingertips, without the $$ and you decide when your time is up. The authors decision to share her own experiences says a lot, it makes you feel you’re not the only one going through this. The exercises/tasks makes this different from other self help books. Clearly the authors focus is really to assist in recognizing one’s issues, working through the process and develop coping skills to maintain a normal life. You get a lot from this little book :) Can’t wait to see more from this author!
