This is a terrific product, VERY simple to use, and the hole punch works perfectly. I needed rivets to fasten two pieces of leather together. After reading the reviews of how hard standard rivets are to use, I looked for an alternative and found these. They are SOLID brass and beautifully machined.This is a very high quality product, and I STRONGLY recommend them.

Updated review:Keep in mind these are not advertised as "pure brass". These are made with a brass alloy. While there is nothing fundamentally wrong with an alloy, I wanted to clarify what I received. They stick to a magnet… but barely.These (sold by CrazyEve) seem to be well-made. The 4mm size can be difficult to find at a fair price in brass.The seller provided adequate feedback when I asked about the type of brass used.Based on this experience, I may buy some more in a different size.

Nice combo, did the trick to help fix a fairly new belt with a broken buckle that was stitched on. Simple to use.

Really nice. So far one female stud was not threaded. The slot is quite shallow, not that you'll want to put too much torque on these, but its easy for a screwdriver tip to slip out and scratch the stud. The slotted end is often hidden (e.g. the back side of a belt) so not a big deal. I did not use the punch as I have a better quality one.

Didn't expect them to be made with cheap shiny "pleather" looking material. Hobnails looked like they were pounded in by a cross-eyed monkey. But it was close enough for showing young kids what Romans wore. So, three stars for being barely acceptable.
