Peach of a Reloading Scale
This device is the honey of all my reloading equipment. I ended-up purchasing four different scales before finally landing on this great machine. Ya know the ole axiom, "You get what your pay for"? Well, sometimes that's true, and sometimes.... not so much. In this case, it's totally the case. All of the scale I tried, including $100 digital and beam versions, could only measure out to about a tenth of a grain. This sweet thing can measure out to 2 one hundredths of a grain! That's 0.02 grains. It will never read an odd 1/100 value, they are all even numbers, but for my purposes this thing is perfect!! The device is also extremely repeatable. It can measure the calibration weight pretty consistently out to 1/1000 of a gram. When weighing powder you don't have to worry about it being in the center of device, or that the powder is spread out in the pan...none of that. It will read the the same value regardless of what you do. You just have to be very careful about breathing on it, or getting debris on the scale or on your pan.Having an accurate scale is great for working up loads as well as checking your powder drop for accuracy. This scale makes quite a bit of difference in evaluating your drop. I found that my Lee Powder drop was quite a bit more accurate than I thought it was when I used a lesser scale to measure it. Same thing when measuring bullets et al.The dust cover works really well to keep dust off the working part of the scale when not in use as well as a wind guard when you have too much air movement in your room.Just a great scale, totally worth the extra doe!

Amazing scale for precision reloading
Feel luck to have purchased this scale through an Amazon Warehouse deal. Once the scale is worm it works extremely well. I purchased the scale for precision reloading. The scale has very little variation between measurements. I love the large buttons and very bright and clear display. I'm extremely happy I pulled the trigger on this extreme quality scale.

Perfect reloading scale
I've traditionally used a beam balance scale to weigh individual charges for precision rifle. This is a bit cumbersome, and involved lots of craning, lighting adjustments and eye strain on my reloading bench. I recently decided to try a quality digital scale. Reviews on this scale were good, and the ergonomics looked favorable, so I purchased one. Checked against my beam scale, the Ohaus was great. It's obviously MUCH easier to use. Trickling powder into the pan is easy. Reading the results is SUPER easy, way better than the beam scale. I've tried a couple "tests," including using five sample bullets of different weights that I weighed on the beam scale, then the Ohaus, when I first set it up. I recorded the weights first time, and weigh the same five bullets each time I set up to weigh powder. The Ohaus has always been spot on. It also comes with a single cal weight. I don't have much to compare with, it's the only digital scale I've used for reloading. It's not terribly wind sensitive, though it will measure your breath from a foot or so a way, or even rapid hand movements. It's small and tidy, so I can, and do, pack it up and put it away when not using it, so it doesn't clutter my bench, or get damaged. The packing it came in makes a perfect storage box. For my purposes, this scale was an economical and practical choice.

Super Accurate!
Ohaus makes great products (what I can say from my personal experience), and this scale is no exception. We used to have one of these at my previous job which was significantly more expensive than the one one Amazon. That one use to show and error screen most of the times, but not this one. We got one of these for my new job and it works great so far. No problems with reading or accuracy. It's cheaper on Amazon than most lab supply stores, but still is a pricey scale!

Not user friendly.
I was very disappointed with this scale after being recommended by a colleague When first purchased I was able to weigh things (small bottles) no problem, I had not tried our larger ones. If I had, I would have returned due to our bottles were too heavy for this scale. We needed to do an end of year inventory and the scale did not work. It had switched modes and we could not get it back to the mode we needed. We could not get to the calibrate mode even after reading the manual and trying to find how to videos online. The words on the screen are not obvious as to what they mean compared to the book. Technical help was not available via phone on the day we needed the assistance.

Great scale for reloading
Seems to be very accurate scale. I like that it has 2 decimal places for the grains function. Only things I am not a fan of: price and that they don't give you a pan. Yes most accurate scales are going to cost you a lot of money. Buy once, cry once as they say. Ohaus does make a nice small pan, I just wish they included it.

This is a convenient scale for weighing with milligram precision
This is an easy to use scale that has 1 mg precision. It met my needs fully. Do note that there is a locking mechanism that will help to protect the mechanism when moving the device. I have not tried it on battery power, but that is a nice feature.
