I didn't buy this for dandruff but for the itchy scalp relief. Every other shampoo I used made my head itch, the best I can figure is this does not have Sodium Laurel Sulfate. I have no clue what that is but it seems to be the cause of the itching. This leaves my hair and scalp feeling good. After a few minutes it starts to tingle, thats the sign I use to rinse it out. It also works well on my beard .

Works well. Recommend by my dermatologist. Not great for protecting dyed hair but does stop the scalp itch.

Perfect buy easy to use and texture for hair is food and the scent is mild. Hair health is important we got this for our family

I don't notice much difference from other shampoos I have used. I still itch. But that doesn't mean it won't work for you. I could have some other issues going on that I haven't figured out yet. I will use this til it's gone and then try something else.

This shampoo has been game changer, very affective for trating dandruff

I love these Selsun blue shampoos. I first tried using them for my dog for itchy skin in the summer when he had hotspots and seasonal allergies and it has been with us for years since then. When I developed some seborhea-like scabs on my scalp I knew what to reach for. And guess what - it worked great! I actually introduced this shampoo into my regular routine so that my dry scalp does not come back. It is healing but not drying my scalp and it is amazing for my dogs skin as well. tough for healing but gentle on the skin. Also the consistency is really nice and thick and you can just use a little bit of it and it foams up fast.

1st time used it 95% flakes, itchiness and a small pots of redness are gone, 2nd time to use feeling scalp cleaned, lightness, dandruff problem solved, I think. BTW I used other brand of conditioner afterwards.
