Quality product that's easy to install.
I bought a warehouse return item and got a very good deal, but even at full price I'd be happy. My install on a 95 Nissan pickup was very easy and straight forward. I had to pull the fan off of the motor and reverse it, and I had to reverse the polarity of the power supply wires to the motor to convert from pusher to puller (I mounted the fan behind the radiator). The clip retaining the fan on the shaft took a little more force to remove and reinstall than I expected but I got it done without too much trouble.I also bought an install kit, with a relay, temperature switch, fuse holders, and wires. It was complete and usable as is, but I modified it a little by adding a few bits from my parts bin, a couple of ring terminals and a wire tap, just to tailor it to my car's specific wiring for a cleaner install, but this wouldn't have been necessary.I can't speak to the fans longevity, I've only had it for two weeks, but it appears to be very well built and the company has a good reputation so I'm not concerned.Running, the fan is quiet (I got the curved blade model) and it moves plenty of air. I'm sure that it will be fine even in the summer as it easily moves as much air as my old mechanical fan. I'm very happy with the quality and performance so far. I think some people would benefit from slightly better instructions, but they're usable and there are install videos available online. I would have added video and photos but Amazon's site is so glacially slow and clunky I lost patience. Why they pay their engineers and coders for the product they put out mystifies me (don't get me started on how terrible Kindles are, if I didn't get mine for free I'd be fuming) but this is a review of a Hayden fan so I'll shut it. If you're like me though pictures and video can be very helpful so it's unfortunate I'm so impatient;~Worth the money, well built, and working well after an easy (enough) install.

So far so good
Bought to replace one that crapped out after a few months. Been some time still going strong. Even survived a radiator replacement. Good thing the wiring and electronics were still good from first one because this doesn't come with any of that.

Great for Replacing a Belt Driven Fan
My son and I are "rehabilitating" a 1992 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L engine. The truck was given to him by his grandfather and was in need of a good deal of TLC. On a good day the engine produces 100 horsepower, so we were doing everything we could to make the engine run as efficiently as possible and get most of that horsepower to the rear wheels. To that end, a good friend recommended swapping out the belt driven fan for an electric. After looking at several and reading dozens of reviews, this is the fan we chose.Physically installing the fan to the radiator was a snap. I comes configured as a "pusher", but we needed a "puller" so we had to reverse the blade as was detailed in the instructions. This was the most difficult part of the install and even that wasn't difficult. The existing fan shroud fit perfectly over the new fan and gave an additional couple of inches clearance to work on the engine. I do recommend draining the radiator and removing it from the vehicle to do this install; it makes the process much easier. It also helps to have an extra pair of hands available. When paired with a good thermostatic controller kit, this things works great! It only comes on when needed and relieves the engine of the continous drag of the belt driven fan. Both engine power and gas mileage increased as a result.

Good fan
Been using this for a month now & it works great! Installed in 2000 Ranger with a 3.0L. Was installed just to see if I could take some drag off the engine at low rpm's & get quicker warm ups while keeping the engine running under 200 degree's. Used as a pull fan eliminating the mechanical fan & fan clutch. Keeps the engine cool in heavy traffic while running the AC.

Repaired and working for now
It’s not easy to install on a Volvo XC90 but it did fix the problem for much less than a new one from Volvo

Good for my tractor
I works nice. Good for a 4 cyl. Maybe a 6. But 8 cylinder a no no got it on my diesel backhoe. If you need extra extra cooling you gonna need dig in ur pocket and get a $100+ fan that can really crank get 2500cfm min for anything you use hard
