Paid for a qualified electrician to comeOut and fit. No problem easy. Connected to the Tuya app no problem and also the Smart Life app as an alternative. Worked fine through the apps and even with the supplied remote.But no luck getting it to work with Alexa , couldn’t find the fan on the network, Tried for six hours installing, uninstalling and resetting router configurations to make sure it was on 2.4gh and not 5 as per instructions.Almost as if the non Alexa version was put in the wrong box at the factory by mistake.On a plus note it is a lovely looking fan , very bright and the fan is really effective at cooling.I’m was impressed so will be ordering another in the hope that the one I received was either the wrong model or faulty.Will re-review re-ordered Fan once received and fitted and adjust my score accordingly.Updated ReviewAfter receiving my second fan , I was unable to get Alexa to find that one too.I contacted support via email at [email protected] and after sending them my fan ID from the Tuya app , their technical team managed to remotely enable Alexa compatibility on my fan. After doing this my Alexa had no problem finding the fan and light and I can now turn on and off the fan and light and adjust fan speed no problem.Great after sales and support. The support is in the USA so email replies do come early in the morning if you are in the UK. 3am ish .I have updated my stats to 5 a love the fan now it is working as it should.Hope this review helps if someone else got a fan that can’t be found by Alexa.

Really impressed. Spent a while reading reviews and felt this would work best for us. It arrived quickly and was pretty straightforward to install. I'd noted others saying the wires were not the usual colours and so confusing to wire up, but on ours the wires had clear labels to make it easy to know how it was to be wired. So all in all it took a very short time with a helper to get it up and working. Straight away the light worked as expected on the remote, and the fan is really quiet with several settings up to very fast, which again were not more noisy than we expected. Since we bought it for our bedroom this was important, and its no problem to sleep with it going.The light works great and really nice having the timer function for leaving the fan on for an hour or so until you fall asleep. Also the app connects easily and works great too, being Bluetooth it seems you can only let one device control the light at a time, so wife has remote and I have my phone.All in all an fantastic product as well as being well made and looks perfect.

Wow, had I known how good these units really are I would have purchased long ago! Like many I had reservations over reliability, performance, noise and ease of installation BUT all exceeded my expectations. Chanfok has done a wonderful job of producing a fan light that offers variable brightness, colour tones and genuinely effective fan performance at every level. The unit when spinning is secure and virtually noiseless, with the rotary speeds of 1-6 producing more than ample breeze. Having the option to reverse the spin is superb feature for assisting heating a space rather than cooling, with the 1/2 hour timer options a welcome bonus. All features are operable from the handy included remote control, the smartphone app (optional download) or via Alexa depending on the model. Quality is superb too and this care extends to the fabulous English instruction guide and the ease of installation with all fixings supplied. If in any doubt, hire an electrician, but for those more confident the wiring and ceiling fixing is EASY. Wire connections (Live, Neutral & Ground) are made via supplied twist on wire nuts so it couldn’t be simpler. Trust me, I have no affiliation with Chanfok whatsoever, I’m just an incredibly impressed and happy customer who unreservedly can recommend this product to those still unsure. For value for money, fitting, size and power this is terrific option you can’t ignore… FAN-tastic!

The fitting: it comes with a small hanging chain so once you have fitted the mounting plate to the ceiling you can hang the fan unit on the chain whilst you connect the wires, this is in case you are fitting it alone. But what they failed to do with the design is allow you to put the side screws that hold the fan to the bracket first and then twist on the main unit and then tighten up the screws, no, they are fixed holes so you need someone to hold it up whilst you fumble around trying to get the Tony screws into the holes, not an easy task at all.Using the fan: it is very good, super bright light and dim and warm if you prefer, it remembers the light settings when you kill the power at the switch. The fan on speed 1 is very quiet and gentle and it’s great on up draft as well. The app was fairly straight forward to connect.Overall: a good fan, solid build to it, fitting up could have been made easier (lost 1 start) but with two of us we managed. I recommend this product, very good.To connect to the app do the following:. Download FanLamp Pro app. Once in click the + button. You must type in the name you want to call the device for example Fan Light. Select to room it is in. Click confirm. There will be a small tile with the on off button and the name you gave it . . tap on the tile to open the settings. Now turn off your fan/light at the wall light switch. Turn on the light switch and within 5 seconds tap the connect button once, (the button is shown in the image of the app I have attached to my review). The fan will beep once and you are connected

The media could not be loaded. Saved me £2000 in Air Conditioning my apartment is nice and cool. Why did I not think of this years ago and they are silence as well? It’s a goodbye to the standing fan that makes lots of noise.
