Great lube, totally invisible to the eye and apparently to mechanics.
I have gone through a can of this riding 2k miles on my motorcycle. I had brought my bike in for servicing and had to quietly laugh when the mechanic looked at my chain, touched it and then applied chain oil to it thinking it had nothing on it because it wasn't tacky when he touched it.It goes on clear, it's simple to maintain. Your chain will collect dirt over time it's just the nature of the chain itself and not a property of the lube, the lube itself does not attract dirt at all.if the chain is reasonably clean what I do is wipe it down thoroughly with a rag and re-apply the lube at an interval of 300 miles. Do make sure the chain is dry before you apply it, allow 20 minutes for it to set. Apply 1 or 2 coats as needed.I do not know for sure if it will or won't affect the longevity of the chain one way or the other, but my motorcycle stays MUCH cleaner using a lube that does not fling off or make a mess all over the swing arm and rear wheel.The great thing about this is you can use the same lube on your motorcycle chain and your bicycle chain. All chain types are supported.
