Use for indirect, low & slow BBQ cooks. Airflow is 360 degrees around the entire stone. There are no legs to channel or impede air movement. Best to set the stone while the cooker comes to temperature to prevent thermal shock. Recommended uses are: creating a raised, indirect set-up for low & slow BBQ cooks, baking/grilling pizza atop the Rig or Rig Extender; creating an indirect set-up on the XL Spider or XL Woo; setting up indirect on select Vision Grills or Kamado Joe's Classic Divide & Conquer system. Don't forget to add a barrier between the stone and pizza dough, so the dough does not stick to the stone.
