Unexpectedly impressed
Purchased two of these. One for myself and another as a gift to do projects together with my mom. I fully expected for the price that this would be cheaply constructed. As you can see in the photos of the disassembled parts, they included threaded metal attachments in the pieces. No wood connections to loosen or wear out. The wood used is solid and smooth. The arm that holds the pattern swivels from the top without having to tighten or loosen the spindle.May stain it for the heck of it. Easy to assemble and a good quality tabletop hoop stand/holder.Nothing negative to say about it. Happy to have something that keeps my fingers from seizing painfully while holding a hoop. :)

Some parts don't fit-updated
I like the quality of the materials. Assembly was easy after I watched the video on the product page. No assembly instructions are included. I have not been able to attach the spindles to the base. The screw doesn't go beyond the base and the base nuts are too large to fit into the groove. I'll update the review when I find a solution. I contacted the seller. They were very responsive, but were unable to resolve this and suggested I return it for a refund. I'm going to try to resolve it first. I like the product.Turns out the nut does fit in the groove. The video shows putting the spindle in first and then attaching the nut. But, that doesn't work. The nut must be placed in the groove which keeps it from turning as the spindle is then screwed into the nut.

Two in one
I bought a few cross stitch kits with large surface that don’t work well using a hoop. This rectangle holder is just the tool i need to enjoy the challenge. It also comes with 2 clamps to hold hoops. The 8” round sits very securely for me to work on. Because the base is long, it feels stable while embroidering. I can also put it on my lap, too. The only con if you call it that is that it is not travel friendly. If i must kill time embroidering while traveling i’d use small hoops working on small canvases.

Great Tool!
I really love this embroidery stand! It's very sturdy, stays adjusted, the pattern board is perfect, and the craftsmanship is wonderful. I'd highly recommend.

Beginner model
Good size and easy to use so far. Bottom board is slightly warped. The wood could use some light sanding.

A must have if you do any kind of embroidery.
The media could not be loaded. Even though my video pretty much says it all I will still write a review. I bought this because I have severe tenderness in my hands from holding a handheld hoop. The fittings are secure. However, I did have a tiny, tiny little problem with putting one of the screws at the top of the base. However, just a gentle tap from a pair of kitchen scissors fixed that. The only other suggestion I might have for the people who make this Is to put some kind of finish on it so it doesn't splinter. I suppose you could sand it down and put a lacquer finish on it.Other than that, I'm extremely well pleased with this product and I am so excited to use it!

Unusable because of incorrectly measured parts
I’m so disappointed. The bolts used to assemble the two components of this stand are too short to connect to their corresponding pieces. I tried shaving the wood down on one of the pieces to expose enough bolt length to connect. The other one is completely impossible to connect with the included pieces. It is so poorly made it is laughable, and this should be considered a scam listing.
