Love the handle!
I have owned several Moka pots the past decade. It is my favorite way to brew coffee. I have noticed that the Moka pots of today are not the quality they were 10 years ago. And this pot is a good example. Moka pots used to be heavy, sturdier and would last for years. The aluminum used in this pot is very thin. The bottom portion is heavier, which is good. But the top portion (especially the lid) are made of the thinnest aluminum I have seen thus far. I'm afraid that this product will not last. I gave it 4 stars because it still makes a fantastic cup of coffee. The coffee is as good as the heavier versions of yesteryear. And, this Moka pot has the best handle design I have ever seen. I would be totally in love with this pot if the upper portion were made of a heavier grade aluminum. The upper portion is so thin that I fear it will not last long; especially with the heavy use I will be giving it (I drink 4-5 cups per day). If this pot lasts 18 months then I will be satisfied because Moka pots need to be replaced every 12-24 months depending on the overall quality. At least that has been my experience.

Fun and easy to use, if a little messy
I ordered this after using a friend's for a while and really coming to love the taste of coffee brewed this way. It arrived very quickly with no issues. The packaging was sufficient to protect the maker during transit. Set up process for each cup is easy and honestly kinda fun. This is the larger version, which didn't notice when I ordered it, so it does make about 2 standard-sized cups of espresso. Which is exactly as it's labeled, I just didn't understand the implications of the size difference until I made my first brew. The only complaint I have about this model is that while pouring the brewed coffee, some of the liquid dribbles down the side of the pot and onto the counter. Something about the spout design causes a little bit of mess every time. Not a huge problem since I can pour it over the sink, and it's really not a lot, but frustrating anyway.

Good idea - not so good execution of the idea
It works, but it doesn't produce true espresso. It makes really good coffee, but I wouldn't call it espresso. It is not the easiest thing to use. The coffee filter piece is difficult to get out of the base (i have to use a knife to pry it out, hoping not to spill the grounds). And the coffee filter doesn't stand up on it's own--making it difficult to weigh coffee using the filter as the container. On the plus side it makes coffee quickly--takes just a couple minutes once the unit is on the stove. Also, be VERY careful when pouring the coffee. The handle gets hot, especially if the stove burner is larger than the diameter of the coffee unit (which they all are, as it is a small diameter). This problem gets worse as you pour, as the steam from the coffee flows directly to where your hand is on the handle. A bit of a design flaw.I would give this 5 stars if:1. The coffee filter piece were easy to take out2. The coffee filter piece could stand up on its own3. You didn't burn your hand when pouring the coffee4. And call it a coffee maker, not an espresso maker. It makes really good coffee--it doesn't make espresso,

Came broken, but was replaced quickly
Mine arrived broken (handle was broken off), but upon emailing the seller, I received a new one within a week. Perfect for people who like espresso based drinks and only need to make one cup at a time. I give it four stars instead of five because it can be a little hard to clean, but each one does come with a replacement gasket, so I can deal with it, and more gaskets are available for purchase online. My only real gripe might be my own fault though. I buy finely ground espresso powder, and it can make my espresso a little grainy since the built in dual-filters aren't properly suited to filter such fine particles. However, I line my mug with a coffee filter and pour my espresso through it and that settles my issue. All in all, good for the money.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase of this product
Couldn't be happier with my purchase of this product. Makes great tasting coffee in a very small amount of time. Before purchasing this I was using a canonical coffee drip machine. Now that machine is in a garbage dump somewhere, far far away. This espresso machine is sturdy, well built, and I really like that it includes extra gaskets! The espresso machine is great, but what truly makes it a great product is the constant search for feedback by the producers of this machine. They seem eager to receive feedback, whether good or bad on their product, and I believe this is what truly stands out. They are searching for any sort of improvement they can do to this product. A must buy.

Good espresso; takes a while
Works pretty well so far. Have had it two weeks or so. Transitioning from an electric Mr. Coffee espresso machine that was falling apart, this takes longer to brew, but the espresso tastes a bit better. We mostly use pre-ground Cafe Bustelo, delicious and nicely priced. The extra gaskets are a nice inclusion.NOTE TO VENDOR: The product did not include instructions. Making coffee is intuitive enough, but it might be useful to include some tips/guidelines for effective cleaning.

Good tasty coffee
Have never tried a pot like this but wanted espresso type coffee after a trip overseas. Ordered and received the Moka Pot within a few days.Instructions were included but I looked at several videos before attempting my first batch. Very good although it seemed to take a long time soNext time I will fill it with hot water and hope to cut the time in half. Flavor was good and I used a good quality Italian espresso ground coffee.Hope to use it more often! Just ordered some small cups to make it more a authentic when I enjoy my coffee. Thumbs up!

It is good
The product works. It didn't come with instructions so we had to just make it work. The seals are kind of a pain to get to work but overall satisfied
