Finally the perfect moisturizer
I read an article by a beauty expert who said that she uses this on both dry and oily skin and decided to try it. I love it. It is sort of a difference between a cream and a gel. It sinks in quickly and isn't greasy but does the under eyes and lips at the same time. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic moisturizer!!!
I love, love, love this moisturizer! The consistency and the light, natural fragrance (i usually only use unscented lotions) is mild and nice and does not cause irritation at all. I highly recommend this product!

It’s nice!
I enjoyed this face cream a lot. The way I used it was during the day after my salicylic acid serum and my toner/daytime treatments. The texture initially is reminiscent of a balm, but WITHOUT being oily or greasy- it sinks into the skin easily without residue and leaves my skin matte. I also like that it actually moisturizes, versus sinking in and then leaving my skin feeling tight 20 mins later- you know what I mean? The smell is okay. It’s a lemon smell, sweet lemon with traces of vanilla (but more citrus than gourmand for sure!!!). It’s a fine smell but I personally would have preferred a light floral versus citrus. It does fade and will not last throughout the day at all so no worries that you’ll be perfumed or anything. As for effects of the ingredients- honestly I’m not sure there were any. I’ve used both a 15mL jar and the full sized jar, so I think if effects were happening I’d be seeing something this far in. So in that regard I’m not sure that the price can be justified, unless you’re looking for a basic moisturizer that works and you’re not expecting miracles from the peptides or anything. Then, by all means. But I think there are cheaper ways to accomplish that.A positive is I do not believe it added to my acne in any way and the ingredients list is great for acne prone skin- which in and of itself could make this worth the money since it’s so hard to find face creams that don’t cause breakouts.4/5 for me but probably would have been 5/5 if it was cheaper.

Silky Smooth Satisfaction with a Price Tag Surprise
Discovering the OLEHENRIKSEN Skin Barrier Strengthening Moisturizer was a skincare game-changer for me. However, the excitement took an unexpected turn when I found the same product on Amazon for almost half the price of what I paid at Sephora. Despite the price hiccup, the product itself has left a positive impression on my skincare routine. The moisturizer, enriched with peptides and niacinamide, feels luxuriously silky on the skin and absorbs like a dream. Its skin barrier strengthening properties have notably improved the overall texture and resilience of my complexion. I've noticed a subtle radiance and hydration boost, making it a staple in my daily regimen. While the initial shock of the price difference lingered, the effectiveness of the product has kept me a loyal user. For those considering this moisturizer, I highly recommend checking prices on Amazon before making a purchase elsewhere. The significant cost difference makes it a savvy choice for budget-conscious skincare enthusiasts. In conclusion, the OLEHENRIKSEN Skin Barrier Strengthening Moisturizer is a gem for those seeking a silky, effective, and hydrating addition to their skincare routine. Just be sure to explore pricing options, and you might find a better deal on Amazon, allowing you to enjoy this luxurious product without breaking the bank.

Love this formula!
As a Skincare Specialist and MUA, I’m always trying, receiving PR, and buying skincare! This is one product that I ALWAYS like to have on hand and even gift to clients that need some extra umpth to their skin. Although it’s not a “Magic skin wand” It does help! It is very thick if you use too much! Start with a very small amount and press into skin. Add as needed. This also smooths over pores pretty nicely. Although certainly not a pore vanishing primer…It can be used as such! I’ve used this as my primer with especially powder foundation and it’s beautiful! Some days I only use this with a little concealer, powder, blush, and mascara and I’m out the door. Not only can it work that way, but it’s GREAT for most skin types! Highly recommend! Again, won’t be a magic potion…but nothing really is except time and taking care of your son from the start. Would be great for a starter cream as well.

Very dense, greasy, and not a good replacement for the Sheer Transformation Moisturizer
Ole Henriksen stopped making the Sheer Transformation Moisturizer, so I contacted their customer service for a comparable replacement, and the recommended Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer. These products are very different. Sheer Transformation Moisturizer was light and absorbed easily. On the other hand Peptide Boost Moisturizer is very dense, greasy, and does not absorb easily. I don't like this moisturizer for that reason I would say the product is good quality, but not at all comparable to the Sheer Transformation. If you are looking for a dense and greasy moisturizer this is the one you want.
