Zhiyun Smooth-Q 3 Axis Handheld Steady Gimbal Stabilizer for GoPro 3, 4, 5

This Gimbal works pretty well and the affordable price is definitely a bonus. The biggest drawback to this unit is that I received mine with only a Chinese users manual. Hopefully, Zhiyun will release future shipments to the US with English manuals. There is not much support online yet but I have found that similar Zhiyun products set up similarly. The battery lasts 10-12 hours which is a big plus. There are three modes: 1) Pan mode which allows you to pan left and right but does not allow tile, in this mode tilt is done with the joystick. 2) Lock mode stays locked on a particular area and will not pan or tilt. Pan and tilt can be accomplished with the joystick button though. 3) . Free Follow mode allows the gimbal to move in all directions. Pressing three times will rotate the phone 180 degrees to go into and out of selfie mode. In my experience, the zoom feature was a little jerky but it works through the bluetooth connection made between the gimbal and the Zhiyun app that is loaded onto your phone. I use mine with an iPhone 7+ and it works fine (without a case). This is a great gimbal, especially for the money and is an easy recommendation for someone who is just starting out with Gimbals. Definitely not worth it. The company needs more tutorials on how to use it. The directions that came with it are in Chinese

I have a phone with dual cameras and the app defaults to using the wide angle.The buttons on the handle don't work, so I just operate the camera through my default camera app.I'm using an LG G5 on Android 7.0
