So Much Fun and So Very Worth It!
First off, a lot of the videos online had basically only one complaint: that the double sided tape was super time consuming to cut and stick to the backs of the pieces - well, no more. The set I received had these round double-sided stickers that peeled easily and were super easy to apply to the pieces. So much fun to put up, and while I always thought I was pretty good at geography…. nope! The islands were especially challenging, and I learned a thing or two, for sure. Sad to say, I’ve lived all my life not realizing how big Canada really is. The colors in the multicolored version look great on any wall, and I would recommend the Large or bigger for the full wow factor.Well made, beautiful and worth every penny. You won’t regret it. I’m sure some people (geniuses?!?!!) can put it up in an hour or so, but it took me several. The end result though is a thing of beauty. I feel smarter already….

GREAT WALL ART!
The craftsmanship on this is great! The wood colors contrast perfectly to distinguish countries. Instructions easy to follow. Takes a a couple hours for one person to put together (if your meticulous with measurements and placement). Make sure to firmly press in the islands as they can fall off if not secured. Also, make sure you get placement right. Had to move a couple pieces with the circle sticky pads and it took some paint off the wall. Overall, so happy with how it turned out!

Beautiful and worth the money
The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying that this map is gorgeous and absolutely worth the money I paid for it. It is handmade in Ukraine and traveled through several countries to get to me and it still arrived on time. The box was almost as big as me! About 5ft and not too heavy. It was well packaged and nothing arrived damaged. The map is also textured in a way giving it more of a 3D effect on the wall. I chose the multi-colored map to help tie in all of the colors of my beach theme. But to give a little perspective this is a massive project. I ordered the XXL map to fill a wall that is 10 ft high and 20 ft long. This map covered the entire wall. I started by laying the pieces out on the floor like the instructions suggested so I would know where everything went. It took me a solid 12 hours over the course of 3 days to get this map put onto the wall. I did this project solo. The hard part was not assembling the map as most of the countries come in clusters and I have a great knowledge of Geography. The challenge was peeling the back part of the little adhesive pieces. It was almost impossible to remove the backing taking almost 5 minutes per piece. It was extremely tedious and frustrating. The entire time I was thinking why isnt the entire back of the map an adhesive so I can peel one big piece instead of several tiny pieces? Eventually I ran out of pieces and went to the store to buy more adhesive. The instructions recommend placing adhesive every 2 inches but really you need to place them every 1 inch to avoid some corners from sticking off of the wall. I had a few countries that wouldnt lay completely flat against the wall. I ended up pulling them back off the wall and adding more adhesive. This fixed the problem however it also removed some of the paint from my wall. Not the end of the world because the piece covered the spot once I put it back on the wall. But when/if this map ever comes down I will have to repaint for sure. There is also no guide for the wall to ensure that pieces are spaced correctly so you have to eyeball the spacing. Again not a big deal to me as I wanted it spaced further apart to add my travel photos. But if you are not good at placing items without a guide it could remove a lot of paint from your wall. Other decorative wall items usually come with a paper print out of where each item goes and then you can tape the print out to the wall to make sure everything is spaced properly. This does not have a print out. But maybe the company could work on adding one in the future.Overall, I am 100% happy with this map. It is STUNNING! Pics and a video are posted. The adhesive picture is not the adhesive that came with the product but the type I went to the store to buy. But it does show how to space the adhesive correctly to get the map to lay flat. And also a pic of where the paint came off when I removed it.

Great Project!
Item arrived quickly. Took us about a day and a half to do the entire thing, including purchasing the framed canvas, painting the canvas, and putting the map together on the canvas. We paid less than $100.00 for the materials and love how it turned out. Looking forward to placing more pins in the map. Easy to put together, adhesive tabs all worked great, no issues at all. Highly recommended

The quality surprised me, the end result exceeded my expectations (XL Version)
The package arrived expertly packed, layered in Styrofoam between each continent and major section, all in a cardboard flat-style box. This is real wood, with a fiberglass/acrylic backing. I think it's a 2-person job for this size (XL/OAK) but usure for other sizes.Take your time! Watch the video from the QR code that points to YouTube, on the instructions, it's worth it!Assemble Europe with Africa and Asia to form a large section, it's almost 1/2 of the entire thing in one piece. This is good and bad - bad in that when you have to mark your mounting holes you have a larger piece that you have to keep stable, level. Good in that you're literally almost 1/2 done once that larger super piece is hung up. In retrospect, I would have just started my initial hole marking with Europe, get my first two markings, then attach Africa, Asia, hang again and mark the remaining super section holes. I was off for 2 of my 10 first holes which is all the holes for the super piece (Europe, Africa and Asia). After that, the rest is very smooth - North America, Greenland, South American and Australia and all the extras (islands, ocean names etc.).Electrical / LED connects are very straightforward. My south American LED pins had a bent one, easily fixed with a flat head screw driver and once I plugged it in, it worked flawlessly. The remote is very cool too - it's touch-sensitive with a wheel for the colors, other buttons for on/off/brightness, mode and more.I have 1/2 of my country flag pins up and it looks great. The non-continent pieces (north/east/west/south), small islands etc. are all stuck to your wall with tape, while the rest is very secured with wall anchors. I was lucky, both my Europe and North America continents hit wood studs for extra durability. If you select "North American" plug style, you don't get a North American plug, you get an adapter to plug the two prong European standard into it and then plug the adapter in the wall. It's a large converter, minor inconvenience and I would not ding a star in the rating for it.It's only been a day and I've had a 1/2 dozen meetings and nothing but very positive comments - I love it, and so does everyone else apparently. I'm very happy and I do highly recommend this for anyone. My specific use case was for an office wall that my teams/zoom cam looks at - and it shows up phenomenally on camera!Tools you will need: Measuring tape, level, screwdriver or light power drill and drill bits (pilot drill bit, 1/4" drill bit and Philips bit, pencil and consider a laser level for nice straight visible lines to align to, and lastly...patience! I can't emphasize patience enough.

Fantastic Product!
I purchased this map as a Christmas gift for my husband. It came promptly and undamaged. I could tell from the moment we unwrapped the packaging that this was a high quality product. Even the packaging is exceptional! Attention is paid to every detail. The instructions were easy to follow and we had a lot of fun putting it together. Best of all, it looks fantastic on the wall of our billiard room. Highly recommend this vendor!

Good product and company
This is a wonderful piece of art that is fun to put together and looks great on the wall. I purchased the large size and am very pleased with how it all went together. Everything you need to put it up is included, with the exception of a measuring tape. However, it is art so some things are not perfect; many of the islands are not to scale. For some islands this is unavoidable as they are too tiny to even see otherwise and it is fun to see where Figi and Easter Island are located. Also, although Vancouver Island is not shown in the promo materials it is included too. I had a small issue figuring a couple of things out and I emailed the company - I received a very helpful reply that same day. I have zero regrets about purchasing this item, although now I'm kinda wishing I went bigger.

Impressed
This is well made, it took much longer than an hour to assemble though! Packaged with care! Very happy with my purchase (this size is L) Vancouver Island just says Vancouver on it, (I thought it was because there was no room) yet Vancouver is not on the island, friends just bought the same map but ordered the add-on of capital cities and they are incorrect also. It shows Victoria being in British Columbia and Vancouver being on the island LOL Wrong...Totally opposite.
