I bought this to fit into a DE-9-sized cutout in a case. A DE-9 ("DB-9" is wrong, don't call it that) has a screw spacing center-to-center of 24.98mm. My measure-fu is not as strong as some, but the screws on this are about 26.9mm center-to-center. If you're willing to widen your DE-9 cutout a couple of millimeters or if you're cutting something custom, this is perfect. If you're trying to fit an existing hole of a DE-9 size, this is not the cable for you.

Worked as expected. I would give it 5 stars, but how can you love something so simple

I was able to use this adapter in my project where I took a playstation one, removed the insides, and replaced with a raspberry pi to make a retropi build.

The electronics work perfectly fine. The issue with it for me is that it warps over time, probably with heat. Mine is now skewed significantly to the side, and doesn't fit perfectly in the cutout I made. It fits "good enough" that I still use it but I'm not really happy with it.

Received good part as advertised

I needed to mount an HDMI port to the side of a modded case, this worked perfectly. Other than that it is just a cable extender, hard to write a rave review for something like that.

Used this to install a Raspberry Pi in an old, hollowed-out game console. It was perfect. If you're looking for a panel mount HDMI extender, look no further.
