For the mathematically inclined!
A mathematically rigorous and concise introduction to the subject. Written by people who teach the classical mechanics course at MIT, it is also recommended for students who take the edX course 8.01x. I subtract one star for the lack of or relatively lacklustre visuals, occasionally photocopies of hand-written free body diagrams. In addition the lack of an index. However, you'll find the basics clearly explained in the language of mathematics and many classical problems solved. Highly recommended, especially for those of you who follow the edX course.

No need to buy this book...
You can simply have it all for free on the web. It does not have any problems nor solutions to try to do more that what you find in the courses on edX. Moreover, the mathematical notation in those pages are not easy to follow. I have send it back since and bought instead the «Physics for Engineers and Scientists vol 1 and 2» from Hans Ohanian.
