Cruncher Prehistoric Pets Interactive Dinosaur

Where to begin? Build quality is great. Materials quality is very good. Feels like good solid construction. My 4yr old son hasn't broken it. :-) Colors look realistic not cheap. Batteries last longer than expected. It has a power saver mode when someone forgets to turn it off. 1st set lasted 2 months with frequent use. It's an entertaining toy that makes realistic dino sounds. A bit loud at times if your watching TV. Some parents may not like it when you lift the tail and it farts and then laughs. I think it's funny. Kids make those sounds anyway so no harm. If the power has been left on, and it hears a sound the toy will wake up briefly make a Dino sound then go back to sleep if not played with. My son has had it 4 months now and is on to newer things. The Dino is cool looking and though not a favorite of his anymore, it looks good on the shelf. Love it, recommend it. Again good quality build, materials and coloration.

I bought this for my son last Christmas, he was 5 years old. He loves the dinosaur. It does run on alot of batteries that die quickly. Some of the directions on how to get him to do things were difficult, but none the less he still loved it. This ma be better for a little older child but still the look and feel is great for any child dino enthustist. The skin of the dino is very life like also, which just added to the likeness for my son.

I can't say enough good things about Cruncher. I bought him for my 4 year old nephew who has a ton of toys, & Cruncher has been a hit from day one. I must admit that the "farting" still causes giggles 2 months later. Also, Cruncher cries & whines & hollers if he falls over on his side or if he is being carried around by his tail. He sounds hilarious! And, he will sometimes "come alive" & charge, roaring when he has been left unattended for a while. I love his eyes. He appears to be looking at you. He has proven to be very sturdy. Would definitely recommend!

My 8 year-old cousin was visiting for Christmas, so I got him Cruncher as a gift. He STILL emails me and mentions Cruncher over a year later. You can feed cruncher his bone fish or just watch him dance, move around, wag his tail, and chomp things. I was worried my cousin who doesn't speak English wouldn't understand what Cruncher was saying, but apparently dinosaur speak is universal. My cousin loved feeding cruncher his other toy cars and sliding trucks down his tail. The toy was a GREAT hit and made me the coolest aunt ever... at least to one kid ;)

This dino is cool but not as fun as the commercials would suggest. The first one we ordered had a plastic gear in the neck break and not lift the neck as its supposed to. Overall I can't say its worth the money.

"Santa" brought this dinosaur for my 4-yr-old boy. He's played with it nonstop since Christmas morning. He talks to it, feeds it, pets it, and carries it with him everywhere. It can be a little loud, but when I hear my son laughing and interacting with it, I don't mind. Any dinosaur-loving boy (or girl) will love this toy. It's pretty sturdy and durable, and seems like it will hold up to a lot of "love" and maybe abuse. I definitely recommend it for any kid, any age!

I got this as a present for my 8 year old grandson and it was an instant hit. He played with it for hours and even named it. His 5 year old brother was so fascinated by it that he spent his own money on one. After 2 weeks they are still playing with it. I was sure they would get bored but it has held their interest thus far. That is saying something because it is competing with a wii, a dsl, and an ipod4.

Cruncher got to my house wrapped up in paper and plastic. No box. His head and some of his neck are ripped. Very disappointed. I was really praying he would work because we paid $150 for him. I'm not returning him bec he got here just in time for my son's bday. I'm very disappointed with this purchase. He would be more $50 rather than $150. It's ridiculious to get a toy that's way used and ripped for this price. He is also missing his fish bone.
