yard sign for dog control

posts are short, but did the trick
Strong, High Quality signs. We have battled several dog walkers leaving massive amounts of droppings on the sidewalk and the grass. Our apartment complex spans 2 blocks long and has winding sidewalks throughout it with lots of trees plus designated dog walk areas with a bag station. But dog walkers like strolling though the complex. Our sidewalk runs in between 8 apartment decks with lawns (2 story). We all sit on our decks visiting, cooking on our grills on the lawn and walking on the sidewalk ourselves. We have confronted these dog walkers over & over. Nothing helped. The droppings and flies became intolerable. I bought these and put one at each end of the sidewalk (where they can take other routes to walk their dogs). Not one dropping since! The posts are very short & I pounded it into our Texas Clay ground easily, but by the time I his secure ground it was very short. But I received thumbs up from residence who saw me and it has worked wonders. I think the Be Respectful phrase helped to not make them angry about the sign. We are not allowed to put signs up in or complex (not even on our deck or windows) but so far maintenance (who has to pick up the droppings) has not removed them.

Helps with deterring thoughtless dog owners.
We love dogs but just don't want their waste on our property. Placing these signs on our property has helped to deter people who are just thoughtless about curbing and cleaning up after their dogs. It doesn't stop everyone but we've seen a significant decrease in animals doing their business on our property. I like that the signs look official and can be moved around easily if needed. I do wish they were a little cheaper. After all, the letters are not engraved. A transparent sticker is glued to sign area.

Just what I needed to send the message to my neighbors!
Face it. If you don't own a dog, having people use your lawn as their dogs toilet is a major annoyance! It's worse if you're trying to grow and maintain a healthy lawn. Ever ask yourself why they don't just use their own property like a toilet? Because they don't want a nasty looking lawn! So optics aside I have no issue broadcasting to everyone that your animal is not allowed on my property unless the owners wanna pay the mortgage!

Either They Can Read or The Pictures Say It All!
Sad that it had to resort to buying these signs and placing them in our yard so that neighbors walking their dogs to deposit their waste on our yard would finally get the picture despite our speaking to them directly as well as a neighbor across the street.Knocked off one star because it would have been nice if the stake was pointed to make it easier to place it into the ground.

So sad that we need these
It is absolutely ridiculous that you should have to post these signs to keep rude people from using your yard for their dogs bathroom but if you have to these do the job, it would be nice if the stake was a little taller and had a pointed end to make them drive in the ground easier

Helps keep the neighborhood dogs off the lawn
The sign is small, tbe letters are small. One would have to stand in front of and close to the sign, in order to read it. I would have preferred a larger sign, but couldn't find one that I liked for a good price. This is a 2-pack, which helps. Was having issues with other people's dogs peeing and leaving poop on the lawn. Haven't seen that happen since I got the sign. Yay!

Perfect!
The metal is a good quality and thick, the signs are a great size and are big enough to be noticed but small enough to not overtake your yard or bother HOA regulations. The color was vivid and the green posts that are screwed on are good quality and were fairly easy to hammer into my lawns. I was very happy with them!

Nice signs....very happy with size and appearance
The signs are just the right height and size to be noticeable but not an eye sore. The signs are well made and look quite durable. Hope they help the pet owners be more responsible.Update 27 July:A word of advice, if you have an HOA make sure they permit these signs to be displayed. We were instructed to remove these signs from our lawn.
