Great unit
Very good unit, so much so I purchase another one just like it. Stable, sturdy and colorful.

It serves its purpose but…
This was not the easiest to get together. You’d put one crossbar in, and another would pop out because of the vibration. It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world so if you need that, I’d look elsewhere. Mine went in my son’s closet and my only concern is that the edges can be sharp. I had a few little surface slices on my hands when finished setting it up. It’ll serve its purpose for us, but there was lots of swearing involved in the setup.

Don’t let the low price fool you.
I needed shelving in my storage area. The low price compared to the quality of this product got my attention. Still I didn’t realistically think the units would be good quality at this price. In the process of assembling the shelving it became clear these units were very well engineered. Once the assembly was completed I was very impressed at the capacity to withstand the weight I stored in them. The assembly is fairly straightforward, however the phase where the horizontal shelf supports are attached to the vertical members can try ones patience. Some shelf supports went in as planned other required some “coaxing”. Once I got the hang of it I was rewarded with both shelving units holding all of my items without any problem.I chose to anchor the units to the studs in the wall for safety. I would highly recommend following the directions including wearing gloves. Patience and sticking to the directions without short cuts will likely yield a successful assembly. I very rarely give any product a 5 star rating.

Fine for light storage
Like others have mentioned, the metal that makes up this shelf is very thin and can be easily bent by hand. In fact it's a requirement when assembling. I had to bend several pieces back into place in order to get some pieces to fit together. It's fine for my use in the garage storing a couple chemicals and tools but I wouldn't put more than 40-50 lbs on the middle or upper shelves.

Hard to assemble but sturdy
Great for the money, but wear gloves when installing and allow time! Sharp metal (got several cuts/dings). Very tight trying to assemble, from the plastic feet (channels too narrow) to the shelving slots. Had to use a screw driver to widen first, you cannot just hammer into place or the male ends don't go in on the correct side of the slots. But very sturdy & was able to stack a bunch of heavy tile on it.

Colorful, Easy to Assemble, Possibly Dangerous
I purchased the blue shelf and it is a nice color. I did not include a photo because it looks exactly like the photo in the listing. It is easy to put together. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour, while I spoke on the phone with someone, so it's not hard. All you need is a hammer to tap the pieces together. What the pictures do not show is just how thin the metal is. Every piece has the strength of a metal coat hanger. Each piece, by itself is too weak to support anything, but it gains strength when all pieces are assembled. It's still not strong, but it can support a few heavy boxes. I would not feel comfortable putting more than 100 kgs / 220 lbs on the entire thing, so you can ignore what the listing says about how much weight it can hold. It is NOT designed to be moved once assembled. It could collapse if moved with any weight on it. So, assemble it and move it into place gently, and then load it up with boxes. Remove all items on the shelves if you need to move it again. It is stable enough on a concrete garage floor that is level, but again, don't move it. It works for storage and looks nice, but it is not designed for heavy use. Also, despite the bright color, it's not suitable for a kids room. It's not stable unless bolted to a wall and could collapse or topple over if a child climbed on it.

It says,”No tool necessary,” but you will find a rubber mallet comes in handy.
Yjis is a sturdy steel shelf unit. It is easy to assemble.

Good
Great for price. Not as sturdy as photos indicate and cheaper quality but for half price of similar product.

Excellent shelves will be buying more.
Excellent shelves will be buying more.Really easy to build up, yes they are punched out at a rate that makes them really cheap but they are incredibly strong when completed.1. DON'T JOIN THE TOP PART FIRST AS THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY!!! - It is way easier to do the base, position it near where you want it, (you will still need access round it as you build), then add the top four legs and continue up with shelving!!!2. I just wrapped the head of a hammer with duct tape to protect the racks while tapping the shelves down.3. Locate the tabs for the side rails, (check the tabs are not bent outward or they may poke out when hammering down). If they are gently push back to 90 degrees or even a touch more.4. Keep your eye on the outside of the leg as you tap down just before the tabs begin to push back in to the leg, if one looks like it is going to pop outward poke in back in with the corner of a flat blade screwdriver and tap it home.Easy!!!

Buy these ones, here's why.
Buy this one. Here's why. I bought two sets of these, delivery quick, first one went together in about 20 minutes. The second one, two of the uprights had a problem - the slots along one side weren't punched out enough. This couldn't be modified or easily fixed, so we put the bottom half together, and then found instead of getting replacement parts, we would have to return the whole thing via Amazon, not just the parts. Good news was G-Rack had helpfully put their contact details on the box, so emailed. They were so helpful, and immediately shipped replacement parts. Result, happiness, just one of those things. I guess all these shelves are much them same at this price. The metal parts seem flimsier than Meccano, yet quite solid when assembled. The finish on parts is good. We had a lot of heavy boxes of books, equipment, etc loaded on them and piled on top, no problem. If you have something like hot rod engines and gear boxes maybe you want something more substantial. Instructions are inside, they say assemble the sides first. Online videos for similar shelves say assemble from the ground up, which we did. There's a video with a German name of shelves that is mercifully short without the tedious waffle of others. You really do need just a decent size screwdriver and a rubber mallet. The extra supports under the shelves you can bend out the tabs with your fingers, or use some pliers to help. Note that G-Rack do a variety of sizes, see website for more, and their prices are very good. Naturally, I would order from them again.

6 months old and full of mold and bowing badly
I purchased these shelves in July. Placed in my shed and they was fine up until Christmas 2018. Returned today to my shed and I was greeted to every shelf badly bowed and covered in mould. Now I have another shelving unit just to the right and that is perfect and over 12 months old. The old adage "you get what you pay for" come in with this product.Just spent over an hour on the phone with Amazon customer service who says if I return these 6 foot shelves I can have a refund. To build these I had to use a rubber mallet and knock them together. It is well built but there is no way they are coming undone so post them back is not gonna happen. Please learn from my £30 mistake. Buy else where and spend more to get better quality wood that neither bows or goes mouldy.

Strong and Stable
Much like the renowned saying by our current PM, these shelves claim to be strong and stable.Unlike the PM however, these shelves are able to easily back up their claim. After taking just over half an hour to assemble at a medium pace (I definitly wasnt rushing to get this job done) they were up. I used a rubber mallet to make sure that all of the connections werent going to move and come out when weight was put on them for the extra piece of mind. I currently have all the shelves loaded up with about 40kg per shelf and it doesnt feel like its going to fall when I nudge it.All in all I would recommend these to anyone out there looking for a cheap and reliable racking system

Good product for price, but smells
The instructions said it needed 2 competent people to assembly. I've changed that 2 competent people or 1 DETERMINED woman.I managed to put it together myself . Was easy to do. Only negative is the smell. As I've put this in my bedroom, the smell isn't pleasant. Hopefully it will wear off soon.UPDATED. After several weeks the smell is still there. It's not pleasant.
