You can never go wrong with a Schecter
So Ill start this off with, Im not a bass player, but Ive been playing guitar for 16 years, so I feel like that qualifies me to review a bass. First of all, its a Schecter, I may be biased, since Ive been playing schecter guitars since 2005, but Schecter makes some of the best playing, best looking instruments, especially considering their price point compared to other makes with similar specs. If youre not familiar with multiscale instruments, the varied scale length evens out the tension across all strings, which makes tuning more stable, as well as more accurate. Additionally, your fingers tend to move more naturally. I have two multiscale guitars, and the adjustment was a piece of cake. Bass is another story since the scale is much longer, but if youre a decent player, it shouldnt be a problem. I bought this bass for recording use, and so far its performing wonderfully. The finish and hardware combination is gorgeous, and it feels absolutely wonderful. As a schecter player, i will tell you that if you have any doubts, dont. You wont be disappointed.

Great bass for the price
Ordered this bass when it was miss priced at under 300 dollars as I have been wanting something with double humbuckers for my studio but didnt want to spend all of the money on a music man. After setting it up and recording with it, I can safely say this bass will give you the tonality you are after if your expectations are in line. Don't expect it to sound like a Fender Jazz bass because it never will, but if you want to push into Warwick, Pbass, Sterling/Stingray tones this will absolutely get you there. Add in distortion by Darkglass and it absolutely screams. Even at the regular price of 55X dollars I would still consider this bass a steal. The action did come quite high but set up is incredibly easy on this bass. The neck is smooth and thin and plays effortlessly. It sits in a mix perfectly. I can't think of much else to say off the top of my head, if you're considering it but unsure, I would definitely go for it.

Awesome bass almost perfect
Overall nice packing which makes no sense as to why the plastic guard is so nicked up .. that is not dust, there was no protective plastic except on pickups themselves. I will replace with a new piece.
