Works well, great value
Excellent thus far. This is the first laser sight I've purchased, and I initially had my doubts about its quality given how much less expensive it appears to be than other trigger guard-mounted units, but it seems solidly built and pretty capable.Mounting the sight and tuning for elevation/windage were pretty straightforward; all necessary tools and hardware were included, plus an extra set of parts to convert the laser unit to a generic rail mount so you can use it with guns other than a Walther PPS M2 if you want. Two sets of batteries were also in the box.One other note about the mounting: a lot of the stock photos seem to show the trigger mount extending back quite far, such that it looks like it'd rub a sharp edge against your finger when you grip the gun. The photos are a bit deceptive, though; the mount doesn't come as far back as it looks and my fairly average-size hands didn't have any grip issues.Using the LaserLyte is extremely simple. Buttons on either side of the unit turn it on and off or switch it between a flashing beam and a steady beam. When I had the laser switched on and held the button down for a few seconds to change modes, though, the beam turned fully off after I released the button (although the mode had indeed changed when I turned the laser back on), which was rather annoying. As you might expect of a red laser, the beam fades in bright light, but it is very effective in lower-light settings.Update: I didn't notice this initially, but the laser automatically switches on after you fire your first live round regardless of whether you've turned it on beforehand. Very nice defensive feature, but I bet it'll end up draining the battery pretty fast at the range...All in all, a very nice product at a surprisingly reasonable price (~$70 at the time of my order). Would recommend.

I had issues, but great customer support so far
Fit and finish is better than expected when mounted on the PPS M2. The only fitment issue was very minor in that I used a razor knife to trim down a small piece of left over mold flashing. Wasn't necessary, but I wanted the bottom to be perfectly smooth. Comes with all necessary tools including extra screws and batteries.I did have issues with the lasers quality though. The sharp red dot turned into a finger length blurry red oval after the first 10 shots. I would be tempted to leave a 1 or 2 star review for that. The reason I am still giving it 4 stars (for the time being) is because of the terrific customer support expirence i received from LaserLyte (specifically from Serena). I contacted them regarding the issue and they had a new laser module on its way to me the very next day. Provided the replacement doesn't suffer the same fate, I'll be a happy camper. The laser image is from 7ft against my basement wall. The white light is a plug in LED nightlite plugged into a standard 120v outlet. Just to give you a frame of reference. I also tried to show how well it fits together and the piece I trimmed down.

Laserlyte Sight for Walther PPS M2
Laserlyte Sight TGL Walther PPS M2 - UTA-M2 I received my Laserlyte sight and installed it without any problems. The only issue that I had was that the laser defaulted to the flashing mode. I tried to find an answer here first to see if someone else had that problem. I contacted Laserlyte by email and they were so fast and responsive that I had my answer within an hour. I followed the directions that Serena sent me and reprogrammed it with a couple of button pushes. Now it defaults to the steady beam when it first turned on.It has a good beam in normal light. In bright sunlight, I have not found any brand that is perfect. I do like the fact that you can switch this between guns since it has a M2 housing and a universal rail housing. I would buy this again.

Mounted this on my PPS M2 but didn't survive one ...
Mounted this on my PPS M2 but didn't survive one range session. There was a bizarre gap along between the two plastic halves. Then they came apart while shooting. I followed the instructions and used a precision screwdriver to put it together. Shame it didn't fit properly. I might keep the universal system and internals and run it on my rifle instead.

Not what I expected.
This laser light caused me problems at the range so I just took it off, and never used it again. I don't think that it was built for actually shooting. I think it was built for dry firing at home with a LaserLyte target that I don't have.

Stopped working installed to Gun after 6 rounds
Fits nice to the Walther PPS/M2 .Installation was easy.Had problems with on/Off bottom, the delivered switch extension was rubbing on mounting post of Laser Unitand did not reset after pushing on, so not able to switch between modes. After resolving the issues and final installation to gun, Dry Fire practice mode was working fine and 200 + rounds all worked well. But on the range the laser quite working after only 6 rounds.
