Public Speaking for Success

I was looking for practical suggestions on things I could do to improve my presentation skills. I am not a complete beginner, so I didn't want something too basic. I am not a great speaker, so I didn't want something too far above me either. Fortunately, I think this book offers information that any speaker can use. It is succinct and doesn't repeat, so despite its small size, it has a lot of information in it. I started doing some of the exercises right away and immediately began improving both my confidence and skill. It's a keeper!

Excellent book! I would have one observation regarding the kindle format. The last chapter containing inspirational stories has few issues. I found 3 paragraphs which interrupt suddenly and start with other ideas, other flow of thought and it is very frustrating...please check and do something on these lines...It is a pitty to have such minuses with such a great book!

No matter how long ago this was written it is still relevant in today's world. Public speaking does not come easily to me, so I reread this book to remind me of the important things I need to say and how to say it.

Bought for my son who is doing public speaking at school, he says this book is Great!!

The book arrived swiftly and I'm excited to read it. The only downfall is the quality of the book. It looks like it was a rushed job with the pages not fitting properly. The first few pages look like they were just torn into place. Really weird - I've never purchased a new book of this quality before. I will keep it because I'm excited to dive into the book.

Great book, it contains many great easy-to-follow tips. Overall it has amazing advice for anyone interested in public speaking. Also it’s written in a fun and easy to understand manner.

Dale Carnegie hit another homerun with this one. Might not be a complete paradigm shift for many, however, it's definitely a well articulated piece of common sense. It reiterates the fundamentals such as practice and preparation.

Read this for a leadership class I am taking. I think it is a must read for all leaders in any church, or anywhere

Very concise and clear book and easy to understand. Lots of information on pronunciation and grammar not found in similar books
