Very happy with purchase-easy set up and great performance
This bad boy showed up yesterday and I just so happened to have some 1/8 steel angle and plate I needed to weld up. Set up was a breeze and the instructions were fairly clear and to the point. I had an old Lotus mig 175 that performed….. ok. The thing was a beached wale so I was happy to upgrade to an inverter machine. This thing welds great right out of the box. I ran it with .30” wire and 75/25 co2. Very clean arc and the pre/post flow is a nice touch. Performed great on 110v - looking forward to trying thicker stuff on 220. My Weldpro AC/DC Tig 200 just showed up today and I’m very excited to try that out as well. This Mig is a great performer and very good value.

Recommend for the beginner, garage and small shop with limited space.
Actually a really good machine. I compared to the three top brands and have to say it works just as well, and is a bit less expensive. It may have a couple of less features like digital controls etc. but functionality, same weld results. 110 side works surprisingly well, and the 220 side may run a little hotter than the knob indicates but just dialed it down and no problem. It’s not going to be running pipe all day but wasn’t designed for it. Great little machine for the beginner and garage/small shop, and a nice (lite) machine to throw in the back of the truck for the small quick jobs and for 4 bills I can’t complain. I’ve spent more and had many complaints. Haven’t had to use tech support so know comment there but I guess that’s a good thing. Recommend for the beginner, garage and small shop with limited space.

Best little machine small light weight and welds 1/4 no problem
Kick ass little welder small light at easy to move versatile yet great welding capability. Super happy with this welder . If your shopping around for a bigger welder 120&240 v this is the one yes can weld 1/4 plate with this little machine .I just .fabricated a new rear frame for 2001 silverado 8.1 with this little machine . Works flawlessly I built a two 110 cords to one 220 crank this machine all the way up heat and speed lil slow but welds 1/4 no problem good penetration . Frame is now stronger than it was factory.I made a good buy with this little machine. For any of the people that say this machine is a piece of junk have no idea how to weld in the first place ! I'm telling you I'm impressed this will be the traveling welder to go to our mud run and races I can weld anything automotive with this welder with ease just as good as someone else could with a high end machine this one only weighs what 15 lbs . Amazing great job to the engineers at weldpro!!!! A+++

Better than I hoped for.
First: excellent customer support. The tech number hooks you up with a US based guy (forgive my bluntness here: the tech support number hooked me up with a native english speaker who knew welding.). My machine was a month or two passed its "free return" date but the company paid to ship my old one back and a new one out. No dumb questions, no charge. Now, every home shop guy knows and respects "duty cycle" right? And every home shop guy has at least one project that requires alot of non stop welding. Don't be tempted, respect that duty cycle with these smaller lesser expensive machines. Having written all that, this thing does everything a more expensive machine does. Perfect for the small shop guy.
