I’ve been needing one of these for quite a while and I’m so happy with this purchase! I used a whetstone on my knives first, since they haven’t been sharpened in over 3 years 🫢. After restoring their edge, I’ve been keeping them fine tuned by using this guy frequently. I’m so happy with the results! The wood handle is nice. The finish on the wood isn’t super thick, so I treat it every once in a while with a little oil which keeps it nice and sleek. Would definitely buy again!

This is a great product and good looking as well. Put it to work and it placed an excellent edge on my knives. How long-lasting it will do so remains to be seen.

Not only was it very nice looking, but, sharpened really well! Pretty wood handle too.

Comes in a nice box, feels great, nice heavy piece, wooden handle feels solid, sharpened all the knifes in the house. Box says made in china..

This sharpening steel is a little thicker than the ones that come with most knife sets. It's wooden handle shows an attractive grain. Also seems to straighten the edges of my knives better in fewer strokes than my old Henckels sharpening steel.

I got this to replace the steel that came with my knife set that was looking worn. The shaft for this one is bigger so it doesn’t fit perfectly in the knife block, but it works a lot better and it looks nice.

I cook for my dogs and am cutting through lots of veggies as well as beef heart and liver. This keeps my knives sharp and ready to use
