This can be a great hanger for avoiding those unsightly stretch marks on clothes that hangers often leave in knits. And it is definitely a pretty piece of hardware. However, it is not a universal cure. It worked great for my husband's half-zip sweaters and one of my knit dresses. It did not work for any of my sweaters because the hanger's shoulders were too wide. So it still left stretched spots just in different places than my other hangers do. Also, the felt should have wrapped farther around the hanger so that it doesn't leave bumps of its own. Again, not a problem for my husband's sweaters but a potential problem for my knit dress.My recommendation is to try one and make sure it works for your clothes before you order more than one. They are ridiculously expensive (as is the shipping). If they came in a slightly narrower "shoulder" width, I would probably say it would be worth the expense for special items, but still more than I'd like to admit I paid for a hanger. I tried the wooden version too, because it was cheaper and I didn't need the bulk of the metal tube for shirts, but it was even wider than the metal version and I can't even put my husband's shirts on it much less mine.
