Vega XTV Half Helmet

the helmet is very comfortable and light. However, if you plan on riding in cold weather, bring something to cover your ears. The helmet does not have cold weather ear protection.

This helmet is great. I loved it so much that I bought a second one. Very comfortable. Weight distribution is great. Comes with a light weight material storage bag also. The first time I bought one, it bothered my ears. But I exchanged it for the next size down and it fit way much better and it didn't mess with my ears. The chin strap tightens and releases super easy and there's a snap on the end of the strap to keep it from whipping you in the face. The flip down tinted shade is real cool too. I would recommend this to anyone.

These have been recalled by the manufacturer for not meeting DOT safety specs. Google "xtv-recall" to see for yourself. Why these are still being sold is a mystery to me.

Love the fit. The drop down sun visor is great. I can still wear my glasses and it doesn't impede my vision at all.

Exactly what I wanted. Simple helmet. Fits in my luggage bucket on the scooter.

All XTV helmets have been recalled bc they may not actually meet all DOT reqs. Vega is apparently replacing them with other models. [...]
