Have not lost a chicken since using the tape
Recently lost 3 chickens in three weeks to hawks. After the first 2, I secured thin netting over my run. The hawks went through it somehow. That is when I bought this tape. I cut several 18 inches pieces and tied them to the top fence on my run so they flutter in the breeze. I have not lost a chicken since. I am still seeing hawks overhead but they have not attempted to attack.

Hard to keep up
They work great but if you live on a lake and that is why you are purchasing this, you always have wind, so it is hard for them not to break with what ever you string them up with. So we had to change our strategy and but them to be smaller, they are working but not as great as before. It is better than not having anything down at the lake. Everyone in the building is happy with the outcome

So far it is working well!!
So far so good. Bought this to place around the perimeter of where I planted some blueberry plants. The deer have been having a field day on my blueberry plants and I decided to try this after seeing so many neighbors use similar tape for keeping the geese off their grass. Will see how it works in the long term. It is a very sturdy tape and it has held up well in the rain we have had as well.

Even freaks me out to hear the mylar rustling
350 feet for $10 was the sell. I guess it cant hurt. I went with individual "scarecrows" , tied it to 24-inch grade stakes. My front yard still looked like i was trying to contact alien life forms, but the rattling of this stuff in the slightest wind is unsettling to my ears, so i cant see how a bird or any animal could get accustomed to it. It does need wind to "work" i think. I have seen robins land but dont seem to linger on the lawn for long. New grass came in pretty thick.

Great bird scare tape
This if the first year we have a great deal of plums on our hybrid plum trees and cherries on our art cherrie tree. I attached this tape to all the branches, about two feet long ad just tied to the branches. When there is the slightest breeze, the tape blows all oven, with the sunlight reflecting off its surface. In the past we have had record number of cherries on our tree, but got none because the birds ate them all. N I think this year we will again be getting cherries based on this tape.

Pesky Pigeon Parties Prevented
This product is absolutely super for chasing away the pigeons that loved to roost on my ramparts -- and poop mightily. I tied lengths of the tape on any railing or air conditioner pipe that was available on my observatory roof. It worked perfectly. The tape did not stand up to the 60 mph mile winds that blast through the canyons here: that was expected given the fierce gales. Bits and pieces of the tape remain and continue to warn away the pesky birds. It is so easy to tie a few new lengths of tape to the available railings. I may tack the tape flat on the ramparts -- I haven't tried that yet. I am so relieved to have a product that really works.

Didn't work
Followed the directions and tied a few long pieces along my window air conditioner. Neither the plastic sound of the tape flying in the wind nor the reflections the tape casts in the sun deterred the birds. Still there every morning chirping away. Also, the tape breaks off along the knot; had to reapply the tape after a month.

Kept the Robins and Jays away
I ended up with more blueberries and blackberries than I have ever had before. This tape does an amazing job. I watched birds fly down to the bushes only to turn away when they see the tape. I used netting the year before and the birds didn't seemed bothered by it. In fact, they would find gaps in the netting and fly under it into the bush. I will definitely be buying again next year.
