GE Universal Remote Control for Samsung, Vizio, LG, Brushed Black

Good remote that provides the basics needed to navigate devices. Quick to program and simple to use. It's one of the few that work with an older TV set I still have lying around. This is a second purchase, the first met its untimely demise after 5 years of use, thru no fault of its own.

This remote has been a lifesaver! We recently bought a new Roku TV, but we have an older SONOS system that was not compatible with the Roku remote. I hate having to use a second remote to control volume!! I came across this old universal remote that we had and was thrilled that I was able to program it to control both the TV and sound system. Back down to one remote. Hooray!!

A pain in the 🤬 the controller is pre program in some code. So I had to use auto feature which throws 10 codes at once to program. Then narrow down to code. The remote works good. However cannot work with fire stick because that uses Bluetooth or something. Got the remote to work but only with auto feature.

Good quality construction by GE and easy to set-up remote control at a great price. Comes pre-programmed for Samsung systems but it took me only a few minutes to set it up for my LG TV. The listing of programming codes is quite comprehensive for many brands. I did not need to use the automatic programming feature since the codes listed worked on the very first try. Stronger built than many remotes, with responsive buttons and reliable battery compartment, a big advantage over similar-priced remotes that are much more fragile.

Very light weight. Easy to program (even without knowing the code).I have a Hisense smart TV with dedicated BT remote control. I also have kids that are not very nice with devices! I got this remote as an alternative control for the TV.I checked the manual but I was very lazy to read through it all. I jumped to the section of universal try and error programming. It found the IR code and worked very fine. Time to program: 3 min.I was messing with it so I tried to program a different device (TLC TV) and it worked as a charm! Also compatible with the sound system. Programmed very easily.It support several devices that you can easily switch between. All the main buttons are descent size. Easy to get used to and operate without looking.All that for very affordable price! and original looking shape and color.

"A decent product, but with some limitations. The universal remote I bought works well with my TV, but I've had some problems setting it up with my sound system. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, but the quality of the construction could be better. In general, it is a product that fulfills its basic functions, but it is nothing exceptional. I would recommend it to someone looking for a basic universal remote control, but not someone looking for something more advanced.

Worked perfectly

The button marked with the circular RETURN arrow does not take the TV back to it's previous window. It takes it back to the home window; very inconvenient to navigate back thru all the menus again and find where you were. It is a deal breaker. Knowing this i would not have ordered it.
