Gives great personality to my beautiful backyard!

There are many of these for sale that all look similar, but there are different sizes. I think it's worth paying more for a larger size if you have a bigger tree, or if the typical view will be from further away. This one is just big enough for our mature blue spruce tree (see pic) when viewed from the sidewalk ~20 feet away. The trunk is about 20" across at chest height. The coloring is perfect for this spruce bark if you want the face to be subtle (it blends in perfectly in my opinion). If you want the face to stick out more, then this isn't the color you want for this shade of bark.The only possible issue with this set is the glue that hold the keyhole hangers on the back. The pieces are solid resin with a round cutout that has a plastic insert. In reading reviews of lots of these faces, these plastic inserts are a common point of failure as the glue that holds them in place breaks loose. As a preventive measure, I did some testing of this glue. In three of the four pieces a moderate amount of sideways pressure with a small screwdriver in the insert cracked the hard glue (it appeared to be like superglue) and the hangers popped out. The causes appear to be that the glue dries very brittle, is lightly applied, and the plastic insert is soft. This combination results in a weak connection. Admittedly, one of the inserts seemed very well adhered as the plastic started to deform without the glue breaking, so I left that one alone.For the three inserts that easily popped out, I used some hot glue (which is very flexible even when cool) to reapply the inserts. This took all of 5 minutes. Since this face will be outside in the weather and experience wide temperature swings, I am sure the brittle glue joints would quickly fail if I hadn't broken them loose from the start. The resin seems strong enough that if the hangers do fail, I don't think the 6 foot drop to the grass/dirt will cause any harm. Landing on stone or concrete might break them however.If/when you re-glue the hangers, pay careful attention to the orientation, there's only one per piece, so if you put it back wrong, that piece of the face will hang crooked.

Love the face, It makes a statement when you drive up to the house, and the grandkids love it. The only issue I had was the plastic hangers on the back came loose but just a little glue fixed it. Took one star off due to this.

We put it on the street side of our tree. I'm hoping that it brings some fun to our neighbors.

Haven’t owned this tree face for long but really cute right now. We’ll have to see how it weathers over time.

Exactly what I wanted. We laugh every time we look out at what use to be a couple of stumps we had on our get rid of to do list - and now they have a life of their own.Looking forward to having friends over and impress them with our yard art...lol.
