Twelve South Relaxed Leather Case for iPhone 8 Plus/ 7 Plus/ 6 Plus | Hand Burnished Leather Wallet Shell (cognac)

This case is great, the look, the feel, and of course the function... it is all there. My case is starting to get that patina look and it is only looking better than when it came fresh from the box. I love being able to carry my card, license and insurance so I can leave my wallet at home. No interfereance with the camera or flash (front or back), an old case I had on my 6+ used to reflect the flash and wash out photos.My only beef with the case is that the volume buttons are hard to find when you are not looking at the device, but they still function perfect.

I bought a couple of el cheapo cases before buying the twelve south. I should have saved my twenty dollars. The difference in quality is stark. When you open the box, the case itself has the “quality leather” smell to it that you normally find from designer purses. The interior of the case has a soft padding that made me feel more comfortable putting the glass backed iPhone X in the box. The pockets are convenient for a quick trip to the store or gym. There’s a gap in the lip at the bottom I was initially concerned about. However, this allows the swipe up gesture feel like butter. The other cases I used had the lip wrap around the entire phone. While the swipe up is still usable, the lip is a physical item that is noticeable as compared to the smooth interaction with your thumb free to swipe the glass from the bottom of the iPhone X. Overall I highly recommend the case.

As a long time Apple product and Twelve South accessory owner, I am very disappointed in this product. I have owned every generation iPhone and never used a case on any of them (unless working out or cutting grass). With the glass back design of the iPhone X, I chose to finally give in and splurge on a nice case. I have numerous other Twelve South accessories that I am pleased with (there were some issues with my first iPhone HighRise, but they did send me a replacement). For $50 I expected this case to be perfect. It's not. Damn near maybe, but I expected better. Three things that noticeably stand out:1. the cutout for the camera is larger than the camera itself and the camera is not centered within the cutout2. the bottom of the 2 empty sleeves already seemed a bit lose, as though there had already been a credit card in it3. when setting the phone face down, there is a slight wobble from top-right to bottom-left cornerAgain, it's a beautiful case with nice leather (and smells great too), but this is worth more around the $30 mark. If color is not an issue, I would suggest going with Apple's $50 leather case.

This is my second 12 south case - I really like the look/feel/functionality. One very important note is that it does take time for this to stretch/form to your phone. When I first put it on the volume buttons would not work (iphone 8+). I thought I received a bad product and was planning to return. After a couple of days though it formed to the buttons. The same holds true for cards. They are super tight at first but then after a week or so they stay tight and dont fall out, but are easy to remove when needed. I can honestly say I will never buy another case for my phone - a truly superior product compared to the millions of other "leather" cases on amazon. This would be a 5 star review if the "stretch" factor didn't exist.

Some of the best leather that has ever touched my iPhone X. The leather on these twelve south cases is second to none. It's soft, doesn't scratch easily, and slides easily into your pocket. It's a bit bulkier than the oem apple leather case, but that's simply because there're spaces for cards in the back. My only qualm is I wish the case had aluminum covers for the buttons instead of just pure leather – it would keep the tactile feeling in the buttons instead of making them mush.

Just like so many other reviewers, I am really disappointed with the quality of the case. I’ve purchased other cases in the past and they were well worth every penny. The “power” button is terrible and you really need to press hard to get it to work. It’s so bad I am thinking of cutting it out myself. Also the rear camera cut out is not cut properly. It doesn’t block the camera or anything it’s just not cut perfectly like an Apple case. The volume buttons are also tough but not as bad as the power button. Sadly I can not recommend this case, safe yourself time and money and buy something else. The feel of case is really nice and the card holders are good.

This is a well made and beautiful case. It wirelessly charges with two cards inserted and does not feel too bulky.However I cannot recommend this case because it interferes with the operation of the Side button (formally known as the power button). It makes the new iPhone X almost completely unusable.I use the side button to unlock the iPhone, summon Siri and 3 clicks gives me access to my hearing aid controls. with this case on the side button does not work reliably.The volume buttons are also difficult to use in this case, but the trouble with the side button renders the phone unusable.updating the review after two weeks of having the case on the iPhone X- Power/Side button still not working. I was hoping the leather would break in and make it easier to press the button, but it is still unusable. I just wasted $50 dollars on an iPhone case that prevents the iPhone from working.

I’m really enjoying this case. I did load it up with 4 cards. 2 in each slot. This covers everything I need (license, CC, insurance card, security card for work). I even put an emergency $20 inside the case - have to pull phone out to get it, but it’s for emergencies. Even with 4 cards it still works on my wireless charger (if that will damage my cards is debatable, but no issues so far). Looks great and holds cards solidly in place. I’ve tried several wallet cases, and this is BY FAR my favorite.

Quality feels good , but is slippery and the buttons are soooo hard to press , i am trying to like it but I guess I will go back to aliexpress cases 😅

This case feels good in your hand - smooth leather with a tactile grain. The pockets are very functional if you just want to carry one or two cards. I had a 12 South case for my last iPhone and I ordered this case when I upgraded to an 8 plus; the last case functioned perfectly and outlived the phone it housed.
