Does the s8+ have a slot for a micro sd card?

Maximum microSD card is 1TB (found on Samsung site).

My tablet did not come with a charger. Am I suppose to purchase separately? It came with a usb-c to usb-c and no piece which to plug into an outlet.

Yes. But beware, charger say all kinds of things but never perform as they should for a tablet like this. You need a 5 amp 45 watt charger which will run you $45. If you want the fastest charge out of it.. official Samsung 45 watt charger 5 amp... otherwise the advertised ones are 45 Watts 3 amp and the 25 watts Samsung official charger which is $25 performs the same as the knockoff 45 watch chargers, which are 25 bucks pretty much... 1 hour and 20 minutes for 45 watt official Samsung and hour and 35 minutes for the 25 watt charger official Samsung.... otherwise it's 3 to 4 hours for other charges. But it must be USB C to USB C..... it's definitely worth the $45 if you use the tablet a lot... it charges in no time

Does this product supports 5G as well or wifi only ?

You need the tablets with the cellular hardware. The many Wi-Fi-only tablets assume that everyone is always on Wi-Fi or has a smartphone and is allowed to use hotspot tethering, a feature that can also have a data cap that makes the reliance on full-time tethering unacceptable. For those of us who expect to use our tablets without being tethered to something, our options in the Android market are rather small. You also need a Samsung tablet that supports your specific cellular carrier.

Can i sign up with my phone provider?

Only if you have WiFi and cellular capability model. You might want to check with your carrier if they have the units on special price if you sign up the service with them. That is usually $10 additional on your bill since they will assign it a phone number.
