Want a scale-looking truck that can handle any terrain? The 1/24-scale Micro 4X4 Trail Trekker RTR from Losi is the vehicle for you. The 4X4 Trail Trekker features an articulating suspension that can handle challenging obstacles like the LOSB1622 Micro Terrain Mountain. The Micro 4X4 Trail Trekker features a longer wheel base and revised suspension geometry than its cousin the Micro Crawler, which allows for greater maneuverability when tackling tough terrains. The Micro 4X4 comes completely ready-to-run with a 2.4GHz DSM radio system, high-capacity battery pack and charger included. With a realistic scale body in either black or silver and Micro AT Tires, the 4X4 Trail Trekker looks as good as it performs.

What a great little r/c
Just bought one of these for my little girl . I wanted her to have something fun to play with while I fly my r/c helis and things . She's a little young yet but she has a few other r/c's already. Unfortunately, they all have some kind of drawback . Either connected with a wire , use infrared(can only be used indoor), do not have full functions with foreword , reverse and steering, or they just plain get stuck on everything and all these things basically cause her to lose interest and move on.That being said, this little thing is awesome! It is the perfect speed for her to get a hang of it and nothing stops it! It can crawl up a grade as steep as stairs , over beach sand, grass and anything else(we avoid all water with it though I don't like getting electronic devices wet ) . It can drive right over my size 13 shoe . You would be surprised at how capable it is for its size and how much fun it is for its speed . It's a little pricey yes , but you get so much more for the money. The ability to repair or upgrade , customize . The ability to use it with the radio it comes with wherever with great range. It's pretty tough it's fallin and flipped quite a few times and once directly on its body upside down from over 3 ft on concrete and nothing happend at all.I recommend upgrading the tires the ones I picked and installed for my daughter are the Micky Thomson Baja claws and they work extremely well. They are a grippier rubber and have a better tread pattern. I used glue on the bead to keep it in place on the wheel(the stock ones have glue holding them on also, so be careful if you remove them. I also upgraded the battery to a venom 250mah 2s lipo and now it moves almost double the speed! (For the 2s lipo you would need a balancing charger - the supplied one won't work)Not sure if it will burn the motor out sooner over time probably but I'll just throw a new one in for her and the fun continues!

Great Little RC Truck for Kids!
I have a 3 year old that is fascinated by my Traxxas RC cars. I made the mistake of letting him run it once and had a few repairs to make afterwards. Obviously a 30 MPH RC car isn't meant for a kid that age. So I started searching for a SLOW RC car that wasn't crap. This Losi truck fits the bill perfectly. It's made with high quality parts and is just as rugged as my Traxxas RC's, just on a much smaller scale. While my son is still getting the hang of steering, he has a blast and there are no "OH CRAP" moments when he crashes it into a wall. Highly recommended for anyone trying to teach young kids how to use RCs.

My son and I have a lot of fun setting up tracks with books and blocks for this thing to climb over and through. It's basically a mini rock crawler. Get a lipo for longer running times, but otherwise. I love it. The only problem I've experienced is that occasionally on a sharp turn the chassis catches under the tread of the front tire and that binds a little. I have to correct for that, or maybe just trim the chassis down with a pair of scissors a bit.

Nice product.
I purchased this for my grandson who is four years old. The main reason was because it is geared down so much for the purpose of rock crawling which makes it easier to control. The rock crawling turned out to be a plus and he and my granddaughter LOVE it.Well made and easy to drive.

For the grandkids
The grandkids (ages 6 and 4) love them. Recharging requires removing the body clips and taking off the body. We use them indoors and out. They are easy to control, and they can handle many obstacles.

Really fun just the way it is.
Lots of fun with my kids. Battery lasts 20; fully charged in 30. We put the couch cushions under the area rug to make obstacles. Rules: lose your turn if you flop. Competitions are getting heated!
