Beadaholique SS/702/14 Sterling Small Tube Hoop Earrings, 14mm, Silver

Very quick delivery; I received them today. When I first opened the box, I thought that they were smaller than a gold pair I had received years ago. I decided to try on the pair that I purchased for myself (the other 5 were purchased for Christmas gifts), and they are really cute; much better than I had expected. They are just the right size, as well as unpretentious (unlike my gold hoops). They are light, don't cause an allergic skin reaction, and will be a breeze to sleep in-- which is also wonderful; true sterling silver!

Beautiful, perfect fit for my 9 year old daughters ears. They do not bother her at all and that says a lot considering the earrings we got her ears pierced with bothered her ears a lot and we got them in 10k gold but the backing they put on the earrings must have been just metal.

The material is very good as my daughter's skin is very sensitive and can turn red if something doesn't suit her. Thus, I can say the sterling silver is definitely good but what I hate is the latch is not full proof, my daughter lost of them somewhere, god knows where. I wish they could do something to make sure the latch doesn't open so easily....unless needed to open.

I prefer simple, plain earrings so these fit the bill. I had ordered these same ones in the past so I just reordered them when they broke eventually. However, they have changed the post on them and they are NOT round. I know a lot of earrings now seem to be going to this flat bar design for their post. I don't like the flat bar. For whatever reason, they are uncomfortable and hurt my ears. I bought these specifically because they are pictured as round. I'm very disappointed and have reported the image to Amazon as a misrepresentation of the product.

They look nice but fall out all of the time. I have been finding them over and over in different parts of my house, friends houses, and recently found a lost loop out at the pet store. The clasp feels secure but it's not. If you don't have long hair and avoid physical contact with other people or animals they may work for you. If you might have anything touch your earrings, choose a different style clasp.

Purchased for husband. He likes the small hoops. These are the right size. However, the sterling is a little cheap looking.

Package:They arrived within three days of making the order in a small, 8" x 5" bubble-wrapped envelope. The earrings themselves were packaged were double bagged in very clean and small Ziploc bags.Price v. material:I was very skeptical when I saw the low price of these earrings. I have a fairly strong nickle allergy and when I see a pair of supposedly silver earrings at this price, 9 times out 10 they're actually made with nickle. They were a bit heavier than I was expecting, but it wasn't too noticeable compared to another pair of similar silver earrings that I already own. They really won my approval when I was able to keep them in my ears for 12 hours without a reaction. Because my allergy to nickle is so severe, I usually know within the hour if there is any nickle in the earrings.Advertised vs. What I got:It's exactly as advertised: a pair of silver hoops 14mm IN DIAMETER. I was worried when I saw a lot of reviews saying they got earrings smaller than what they were promised, and that they would only fit kids. Perhaps I just have really tiny ear lobes, but there was tons of space in them (my ears only took up half the hoop). These would only seem tiny if you had big ear lobes or were used to wearing much larger hoops. If you have any doubts about the size of your earrings, get a ruler and look at the size advertised. Also, understand that the size listed is from one edge of the hoop to the other, not to the center of the hoop to the edge.

These earrings are exactly what I was looking for. I have very sensitive ears, so hypoallergenic is a must, and so far they have passed the test my ears have not broken out ( and I've even fallen asleep in these a few times.) Other than that they fit relatively close to the lobe, and they have a click in back which made me nervous at first but so far I haven't had any problem with them falling out. Overall a good purchase in my opinion.
