Magical Deadly Sin Story
3.5 stars!Gray is usually my favorite character, he is light and bubbly and exudes goodness but his book was so much deeper than that. In someways I'm glad to see his depth but in other ways I just miss all the lightness. The events of this book were so dark I feel like reading this book in the rain made me depressed. So kudos to the author for getting it right even though I can't feel joy anymore.I need Bellamy's story ASAP. what is going to happen? How is that going to go down? This series is very good. Every book is a win!

It was good
So, I'm very conflicted over my rating for GRAY but I think if I'm being brutally honest about how I felt it's just 3 stars. I've been curious about Gray's book because as a side character he's been sweet and adorable and almost childlike. Even knowing what to expect with Gray going in, I had hoped that we would see a different side to his character, a more adult side that explains his past as an assassin and fit his long immortal life; but that information never really comes. Because of this I struggled to reconcile Gray's childlike behavior with the idea of him as a sexually active adult. On the more positive side, I enjoyed seeing all the brothers again and the couples from the previous books. The storyline of the Nephilim against Lucifer's son and his army continued to progress and things are really starting to ramp up. I liked the addition of the human hunters to the fight and I appreciated the way Mason loved Gray for exactly who he was and he believed in Gray's ability to take care of himself even when the brothers doubted it.

Cute and grumpy
Gray being his adorable self dealing with his self doubt and melting the heart of an ex marine tainted by his past this story was super sweet.. I was super excited to read their story but I'm not sure why it didn't hit me as hard as Daman and Castor's books... don't get me wrong I really enjoyed it and there were scenes where the emotion from them was palpable and hit the heart strings.. but I think after reading Daman's book (read my review for that and I think you'll get it) it's hard to top it for me so far in order of my favorites from this series Daman takes first place, then Castor in second, Gray in third, and Galen in fourth... I'm excited to read Bellamy I love enemies to lovers and the scene in this book (spoilers) where he saves Phoenix I had to reread it because it was so good (and when Phoenix struggled in Daman's book with whether to help him or not ugh) I can't wait

🌟 Just Wow!
I absolutely love this series! There is so much depth, so many layers that fold you in and, for me, made me feel like a part of their family. Osborn manages a perfect balance of engaging you fully in the story of the main couple while not diminishing anything about the other primary characters. The overall storyline is so engaging and unique that I finished it in one day! While there is this bigger picture of what they're all fighting for, naturally the individual relationships bring it life. I'll be honest and say that I wasn't quite sure how Gray's "abilities" worked in the previous stories to be as effective as the others but he ended up being full of surprises. What Hawk goes through in his life before he meets Gray brought a very gritty realism to the story that made their relationship/pairing seem less likely and therefore all the more intense and beautiful. I loved how I would be tearing up one moment then bursting out laughing the next, I was definitely kept on my toes with them. I'm so looking forward to what comes next!Sidenote: While obviously not a deterrent for me I do want to add that there is quite a bit more detailed gore in this one.

Least favorite
Okay, I LOVE this series. I have read the other books over and over again, and I'm DYING for Bellamy's story. But this one I just didn't enjoy. An adult acting like a child who falls asleep all the time just isn't fun to read. I actually enjoyed the scenes more that had all the other couples because all of them are wonderful. But I skipped most of Gray's sections. I'll keep this book because its part of the series, but I won't read it again. Galen, Castor, Damon; INCREDIBLE stories. Highly recommend. But if you haven't read Gray, I would say you don't have to. Just wait for Bellamy.

well yes, please
This book continues a phenomenal series. A part of me wishes I had the whole series finished to read, but I’m so thankful to have these books in my life that I suppose waiting for them each to come out is worth it. Gray since the beginning, has been one of my favorites…I adore him and I loved his books. Him and Mason are so sweet together. But you can tell now that the bigger story is developing farther and farther because so many questions and suspense hang in the air. I ache for everyone to get their happy ending. Just amazing!! And hot. Sooo hot.

warm and snuggly
I wondered who’d be G’s mate. And while I do think they were a good match I guess I didn’t feel the chemistry like I felt with the others. I don’t know what was missing but I just wasn’t feeling it with these two. Don’t get me wrong the story was amazing, the world is getting bigger and things are more dangerous as the war marches on but I don’t know, just wasn’t drawn in like I was with the last couple. I did yell out loud a lot with this book because I was siding with Lazarus. So that was fun. Well maybe not for my husband. The writing was great, the smexy was good, and the side characters I love. I am Uber excited for Bellomy’s book. Especially because of his mate, but most of all can lust really have a mate? Can he settle?

Naps forever
I am loving this series and these brothers. The suspense, the battles, the banter is top notch and the way they fall in love gets me every time. “You give me butterflies.” Gray really is deadly cute. I so want to squish him but he’s also full of surprises so don’t ever come between anything he considers his, including one quirky dinosaur. And Mason, I love how fiercely protective he is of Gray but adore how he never stands for him but beside him. They both pulled at my heartstrings even as they made my heart flutter in happiness. These two slot together perfectly. I’m salivating for Bellamy’s book but will happily stop for cuddles and naps any day.
