The game us a bit confusing at first when you are learning the rules however after you learn the basics it's a easy. We are adding in part of an expansion at a time to make it easy and fast to learn those rules. It seems like a lot of rounds at first but it's honestly so much fun it could be more rounds and id be fine with it.It's worth every cent I paid, me and my brothers have played it for hours at this point. And we still have expansions to try out.

We love this game and it is so fun to play together! You definitely have to play with the right people since it is a longer game and is more of a strategy game and not everyone is into those kinds of games, but if you play with the right people it can be so fun! I love that you can change up the game so it is different every time you play it, especially if you have the expansion packs.

A fun push-your-luck game with a ton of variability. There’s different sides of the boards with different rules, different ingredients, I was so impressed and it’s so nice that we can swap back and forth with what we’re feeling like! Super impressed!

This game is loads of fun and easy to learn.We haven't played with the expansions yet because we wanted to learn the base game first but are excited for the new element to change things up as we get use to it. We played several rounds with the first set of books and are having fun trying new sets. I love the change-ability factor.-We've played this game with our 7 year old who picked it up quickly, there's no reading involved (except the card initially drawn each round that is for everyone to hear) so I think our almost 6 year old could maybe get it too. A family member that historically struggles with learning new games also picked this up quickly and really enjoyed playing several times through.-I wish it could play 6 players instead of 5.-The Mega Box box is excessively large and could've been designed much better. There are three approximately 2-3 inch cardboard dividers that could have been removed to make the box a more manageable size. I'm looking for an original box to swap out.-Be careful with the cardboard tokens as they can peel and wear with use. There are token shields or upgraded resin tokens you can buy but they're spendy.-There are many options for upgraded components available online (rat tokens, flame markers, bags, storage boxes for the chips/books, etc.) but be aware the cost to upgrade this game will likely be the same price or more than the game itself. I plan to do this slowly over time.

We received the game, but there was no part of the two expansions that the description and box say are included- it was just the base game in the MegaBox. The box also arrived ripped on one corner, even though the packaging it was in, arrived in good shape.Update: We contacted the company and they were very quick to respond. They sent us a new box, which had the full game and the two expansions included.

I struggle to get family to play 'heavy' games with me. This one adds just the right amount of strategy, luck, and fun for a gaming experience that most ages can enjoy.Only complaint is I wish the cardboard pieces were a bit higher quality. There are places you can buy nice plastic tokens to replace the cardboard ones, but they are currently about $85. I was able to instead find some plastic protectors that someone 3d printed for the cardboard tokens to fit in... those were about $45.

This game is wonderful to play! It's not head to head but based on your decisions and luck! My family and friends have all purchased so that we don't have to bring it with us when we travel!

One of the best board games ever, so neat to get both expansions with the base game. Box is BIG!

The media could not be loaded.  Fun push your luck game, much more value than buying the base game and each expansion separately.As the other reviewers said, the box is huge and difficult to store. Would have been better to go for a shorter but thicker box, since after punching the cardboard out they would fit in a smaller box.The large box also quickly tore around the side since it couldn’t take the weight of the contents?It was also a bit difficult to separate the contents into the base game and each expansion since they are all combined and the instructions are not too clear which expansion has which tokens.
