Installed this into a 10G capable switch and it worked just fine. Granted the distance was short as this was tested on the bench, but it worked well. I interfaced it to another brand SFP+ unit and both ends synced up just fine. The switch reported a 10300mb connection which is normal for a 10G SFP+ module. I am happy wiht the product and can recomend it.

Unfortunately, my Aruba 1930 24 port PoE+ switch (JL683A) running firmware version 2.8.1 does not detect this SFP module. The SFP port LED on the switch flickers on briefly when the module is fully inserted, but the module itself is not detected in the management interface.

This optical transceiver module comes in a cardboard carton and inside you’ll find the module inside a plastic case. The module comes with a rubber cap which keeps dust out of the connections which is easy to remove. There are no instructions with this but if you’re buying one, I’m sure you’ll already know how to use one. This is a Long Range (LR) module so is good for up to 10km and uses the SFP+ form factor (Small Form-factor Pluggable + which operates at a 10Gbps data rate. I used this to connect my small network switch downstairs, up to my main switch in the loft. It was easy to install as you just push it in to the slot. My switch picked it up and started to use the connection so there wasn’t much I needed to do to get it working. I had no packet loss or data loss with data transfers over the network going through this module. It’s reasonably priced and seems to perform how it should and I’ve had no issues over the past two weeks, so it seems to be doing its job…

SFP+に対応した10GbEネットワーク向け光モジュールでJuniper 系列の機器と互換性があります。 特徴は何といってもコストで、比較論でも非常に安価です。 ただ、コストカットのためか内容物は本体のみで説明書や対応機器リストのようなものは無いです。 この手の商品なので、それなりの人が購入することを考えればあまり大きな問題では無いと思います。 テスト環境に導入してみましたが、動作、速度ともに特に問題は無いように見えます。 ある程度長期間利用しないと安定性や不具合（故障）などはわかりませんが、今のところ問題ありません。

このSFP+モジュールの最大のメリットは、Cisco機器との互換性です。 私はこのモジュールを購入する前は互換性の問題が心配でしたが、実際に使ってみると問題なく動作しました。 これにより、既存のCisco機器に簡単に追加できるだけでなく、他の10Gbpsネットワーク機器とも組み合わせて使用することができます。 また、このモジュールを購入してから、ネットワークのパフォーマンスが向上しました。 転送速度が10Gbpsと高速なため、データの送受信がスムーズに行えます。 さらに、10kmの最大伝送距離をサポートしているため、広範囲のネットワーク環境に適しています。 このSFP+モジュールは簡単にインストールできるため、追加や交換が容易です。 また、品質保証があり、長期間にわたって安定したパフォーマンスを提供してくれます。 おすすめの製品です。

最終更新日:2025/02/15 Juniper系用の10GBASE-LR（SFP+）です。 パッケージ開封後の内容物はモジィール本体（＋未使用時のキャップ）のみで説明書等はありませんでした。 使い方は該当機種等のSFPスロットに装着するだけです。 （必要に応じて設定も行いますが・・） 手持ち（勉強用）の環境で使用してみましたが、現在のところは問題無い感じでした。 但し、不満点は1点で商品説明が大雑把すぎる事。 特に互換性の部分については詳細に記載して欲しいと思ったので評価については☆4としています。 後は、このまま使用してみて何かあれば追記したいと思います。 以上 〇更新履歴 2025/02/15 初版

I dont happen to have a full 10km link to test over, but bench testing with some budget 10Gb imported switches (10Gb / 2.5Gb combo) the module comes up OK and communicated just fine with other modules.
