Mike Tyson Mysteries: The Complete Second Season

Loved Mike Tyson Mysteries another jewel in the Adult Swim crown and both Mike Tyson and Norm McDonald killed in this. It's a shame you can only get 2 of 4 seasons as physical media because this was a perfect mix of hilarious and wtf that makes for a fun evening.

I admired Mike Tyson as a fearsome fighter for a long time. As he put his boxing career away, he transitioned into show business. I caught a couple of episodes of Mike Tyson Mysteries on television and liked it well enough to buy the first season on DVD. I enjoyed it a lot, so I bought the second season as well. This is an extremely funny, extremely crude show. For the uninitiated, this show is a combination of Scooby Doo, Jonny Quest, but with the weirdness and vulgarity that usually accompanies Adult Swim shows.If you like raunchy comedy, Mike Tyson, Scooby Doo or Jonny Quest (although the mystery aspect takes a backseat compared to the other shows I mentioned), it's worth checking out. Definitely not for children though. For the record, as of 7/27/2017, the DVD version of Mike Tyson Mysteries: The Complete Second Season is uncensored (curse words can be heard) contrary to other reviews on Amazon.The only special feature on the DVD is the voice cast at a 2015 Comic-Con panel.Another note: although I bought directly from Amazon, the discs seem to be DVD-R, not the traditional pressed DVD discs. I thought this was worth mentioning for those thinking about purchasing.

After buying Season 1 and being disappointed that the digital version is edited for about half the foul language, I eventually broke down and bought Season 2. I seriously doubt all 4 seasons would ever be released on DVD completely uncensored, so this will have to suffice. Great writing, unique characters that work together wonderfully, and so funny, if you enjoy this kind of humor. Even though the episodes are only about 11 minutes each it's still plenty of time to tell the story and it feels longer. Great show overall.

...and a pigeon instead of a dog. This show is great, and should be seen uncensored. Mike Tyson does a GREAT job in his role as himself, and is very funny and self effacing. The animation is good, especially when compared to what passes for animation these days... the stories are often surreal and just plain out there, but they are always funny.

I will restate that I LOVE THIS SHOW! The comedy of Mike Tyson and Norm MacDonald is amazing together. I purchased season 1 already and I am in the hunt for season 3 & 4 on DVD.

I love Mike Tyson Mysteries....always have. It's like an adult version of Scooby Doo with just the right amount of funny. I hope the seasons keep coming because I'm not ready for these to stop anytime soon. Can't wait for season three on DVD because I already have favorite episode I can't wait to see uncensored....

This show is worth buying if you enjoy Adult Swim cartoons and are familiar with Mike Tyson and Scooby Doo. Best spoof of Scooby Doo I've ever seen and Iron Mike really is doing the voice. He's in on the joke and is funny as can be. Adult language. Definitely ages 13+. But me and my wife watch and rewatch the episodes. They are funny like Simpsons season 5 was funny and could be watched over and over again. The jokes are funnier the more you rewatch them.

Loved watching on Adult Swim and hoped to finally hear Norm Macdonald cut loose but unfortunately these episodes are all censored.

It's actually good.
