Great gift for cruisers!
This was a great idea for a person with a cell phone for a camera only. Great for underwater and beach trips!

Affordable fun
We bought this for our first tropical trip where we knew there would be a lot of water activities. We were either in pools or the ocean the whole time - so this camera ended up being used quite a bit!We purchased this one, because we didn't want to spend a lot on an underwater camera that we may rarely use and we didn't want to worry about dropping or breaking it.We used this camera with Fuifilm's Superia X-TRA 400 35mm film. We bought a 4 pack with 96 exposures.I am in NO way a skilled photographer. When we got into the ocean, I snapped pictures of everything. Some things near, some things far, some using the flash, some not... we also took above water pictures & selfies. I wasn't sure what would come out, so I figured I'd try everything and it would be a fun surprise after we returned from vacation. We had over 30 pictures actually come out with something somewhat clear. Some better than others... I wish I could tell which techniques worked the best, but I have no clue. I will say that the ones above water or with items closer to the camera did turn out much clearer. To speak to its quality, at some point I dropped the camera in the ocean. We were probably 4' deep when we lost the camera and it was probably a good 10 minutes before I realized it was no longer on my wrist. We looked everywhere near where we were swimming and it was nowhere in sight. About 20 minutes later our boyfriends who were walking up the shore had found a random camera in the sand - it was ours! No damage occurred to the exterior and the case has continued to keep water out. We've now had this on two tropical trips - it has lasted Jamaica & Riviera Maya with flying colors. If you're looking for professional quality pictures, this is probably not the camera for you. But just for fun and an affordable way to capture the memories - it was perfect! In the first image you can see fish, the second image shows ship wreckage.

Don't buy! Outdated film!!
I'd used Fuji waterproof disposables before and wasn't crazy about the results. The prints were all green. The miracle of Photoshop found images in the blur, so all in all . . .not too bad. I bought this Intova reusable because, well, it's reusable. I considered getting a waterproof digital camera but those get pricy; probably the best deal going is a waterproof Kodak video camera ($100+) but I don't know if it can be used for still photos. I also bought a waterproof camera bag to use with my Panasonic camcorder, a little cheapie, but didn't get to try it.I just got back prints from the Intova: 21 pictures on a 27 exposure roll. Nearly all of them green blurs. I didn't read the package UNTIL the pix came back: the camera, which comes loaded with a roll 0f 35mm film, had a DEVELOP BY date of JUNE 2009!! That, my friends, is three years ago. The vendor should not sell a camera with expired film or, at least, they should say so. After all, it isn't hard to get new film and load the darn thing. As it is, I got ZERO pictures from my underwater vacation. The camera itself seems awfully basic: fixed focus, a flash lever, a winding dial, a gunsight eyepiece. Nothing fancy. I wasn't expecting sophistication. One downside I hadn't foreseen was that the camera is bulkier than a Fuji underwater disposable. This makes it unwieldy if you swim and hold the camera at the same time. (A plus: an adjustable wrist lanyard help you keep it with you.)What did I expect for the low price I paid? I didn't expect film three years after its drop dead date.

Not Bad for the Money
I was recommended this camera as an inexpensive option for some underwater shots for an upcoming trip. I was warned to have low expectations.I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it had a small plastic lens, was of inexpensive construction, and was loaded with low-end film it took some surprisingly good shots. Two things to make note of. The number of exposures window is small and difficult to read. This did not present much of a problem in use. Also, use care when winding the film. Too much enthusiasm in winding can strip the winding gear, so go slow and get used to the feel of the film winder.I would recommend this camera; keep in mind it is not a high end camera and try to shoot with a lot of light and you won't be disappointed.

Some wierdness, but works and decent pictures
I bought this to take pictures of my daughter at the community pool. I works, waterproof for my application, takes good pictures. Can also be used as a regular film camera without the plastic case. Only odd thing is the frame count goes to 27 (and there is no 35mm film that indicates 27 exposures). You should buy 35mm film with 24 exposures - the way that the film gets wound up will give 3 extra frames! Also, when you put the film in, you will have to first wind it onto the take up spool, and then, when you shoot pictures, you will wind the film back into the canister. Sort of backwards, but I think that's how disposable cameras are set up (and also why they get 27 exposures). Good luck.

I was pleasantly surprised!!! It worked!
I went on my first scuba diving trip last May to Mexico with the 3 kids and my husband. I spent so much money on the trip and all the items I needed that I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a digital water camera or case for my existing camera but did want to document my dive trip under water so I purchased this one. I was pleasantly surprised that the pictures turned out as nice as they did and for the low price it was. Of course they were not as nice as if I was using a digital camera but nice enough that I will purchase these again so I will have wonderful pictures to look back on. It is a good camera to view the family having fun. I attached pics for everyone to see the quality. I am going diving again this October in Puerta Vallarta and will be purchasing one for each of the 4 kids (4 kids this time) and one for my husband and I to use.
