Not sure about the mushrooms, but this is a marvelous coffee alternative
I made this by putting one tablespoon into one of those stainless steel tea strainers that sit inside your coffee cup, then pouring boiling water over it and letting it steep for about 15 minutes. This blend smells good, tastes good, and feels very good on my throat. No particular ingredient dominates, so it makes for a very interesting cuppa. The slight bite of the cayenne is especially nice if your throat is a little sore.I'm confused about the "Adatogenic Mushroom Coffee Alternative" line. Are they saying it's an alternative to adaptogenic mushroom coffee? Because I'm not seeing anything in the ingredients that I recognize as being mushrooms. I was also a little surprised when I saw the "Sex Tonic" label on the package; that wasn't what was presented to me when I was offered this product for review. I was thinking I was getting mushroom coffee...but, hey, I'm not complaining! This stuff is great! As far as the sex tonic bit goes, I'm old and pretty long past the sexy part of my life, but libido is life force and energy, and if this ehances life force and energy, I'm all for it. Mainly, I'm just really enjoying this cup of RASA spicy rose.

Keeps You Up at Night in the Good Way…
I was already a Rasa fan girl, so that’s probably important for you to know. I’ve had to cut way back on coffee (sad, I know) for some specific health reasons and Rasa has been one of my saviors. For ease of brewing, you might want a French Press or a JoGo portable brewing straw as Rasa is a slow brew and you’ll probably want to strain it.Herbally speaking, and I’ve recently begun studies in this, not one of these ingredients in this blend is a slouch. I’ve been drinking this blend “straight up” though it would also be lovely with a creamer or frothed milk, or whipped cream… you get the picture. I haven’t yet been bothered by this blend keeping me up at night in a bad way (wink). If you’re still not sure, spend a minute on their website or follow them on social and you’ll get a good feel for their ethos (their packaging is real fun in the fine print too!). I hope you enjoy Rasa as much as I do!

Delicious and Soothing
My wife loves this stuff - she has been ordering it for a while and when she saw it on Vine she made me grab it up. So, bad news first - this is obviously pricey stuff. However she thinks its totally worth it (and has been buying it for a while).Good news is everything else. This is a very pleasant, soothing, and invigorating herbal blend with strong notes of ginger, cocoa, and rose. She likes adding a sweetener to it which makes it almost like a spicy hot cocoa or tea.She thinks it 'feels' very nourishing and likes that she can drink it anytime of day without needing to worry about it keeping her up due to its relatively low caffeine content (<5 mg per serving). And yes, if you're wondering, per her it does seem to increase libido as advertised.Overall if you can justify the price this is very much worth it, and is high enough quality to warrant such a high price point.

Tasty and Fine Grain
This delicious coffee alternative has a very fine grain, which is neither an "instant" dissolvable powder nor large-leaf enough to brew as a tea. If you have a coffee press, and enjoy using it, this coffee alternative may be for you. If brewed as a tea, which is more convenient although not recommended, particles float through a tea strainer and settle into the bottom of a cup, so if you drink it down to that last sip it gets a little nasty. A larger grain would be nice, to allow people to choose whether to brew this as tea or to use a coffee press. Because it contains cacao, it probably has some caffeine in it.This review represents my opinion, on the date(s) it was written, of a free product from Amazon Vine Program.

another good one by Rasa. Lovely coffee vibe, intricate flavors, smooth, Nice hot or iced
I had tried another variety by Rasa, and was instantly impressed. Definitely use a French press as it was awkward trying to make it in a pour over, or tea filter. The particles are thick, and absorb a lot of liquid. French press works. It makes for a smooth, delicious cup of "coffee". I am taken by the coffee like vibe it has. It doesnt taste like an alternative or like a tea-- maybe if watered down-- but it other wise has a fully body mouth feel to it. Coffee like, yet not coffee. I can drink it black, I can drink it with cream. I like it hot, and l have enjoyed it iced. Really neat taste, to me.

Not really a coffee alternative. Tastes like a cross between hot chocolate and tea.
This is an interesting "coffee alternative" product that is recommended for brew in a french press for 10-15 minutes (coffee is usually around 4 minutes). The dry mix has strong notes of cacao. One tablespoon or more per 8oz of water to suit your taste. I brewed a few cups as directed and the resulting liquid is kind of rust colored. Although I could smell the cocoa when drinking, it is lightly detectable on the palate. The flavor is more like tea with a slight bitter/weedy aftertaste. The spice of the ginger and cayenne come through but that's about it. Taste wise I found this beverage very dull and uninspiring.Note: There is very little caffeine in this product (less than 5mg).

A really pleasant drink!
This RASA Spicy Rose tastes like hot cocoa that's been watered down with an herbal / floral rose tea - and not in a bad way! It's actually really pleasant! I've been enjoying it in the evenings, and since a serving only has 5mg of caffeine it doesn't keep me up all night! It's equally good straight or with a splash of cream & sugar. As a coffee drinker, I am a little irked about them marketing this as a "coffee alternative" because it's just not even close. This has it's own place, but it ain't coffee! As for the purported sexy properties - hubs and I are lucky to have a very passionate relationship 11 years in, so I can't say we especially need the aphrodisiac effects... but we're TTC so a little boost can't hurt! ;-)
