OMOUBOI Adult Inflatable Swim Vest Life Jacket for Snorkeling

I waited a couple of weeks and tried the jacket out a few times before writing this review. I am not a confident swimmer, I'm not even a very good floater as I tend to panic. I tried this jacket down at the local swimming pool which amused people greatly and found that it helped me immensely. The color is certainly bright enough that people would easily find me and rescue me and the zip is very sturdy. The jacket is light and will stow away easily in my suitcase without taking up too much room. I wish I'd bought one earlier but this is a fine buoyancy aid at a very reasonable price. As a bonus I might wear it as an over jacket when I'm riding my scooter in Greece, people will certainly see me coming and hopefully get out of my way!

Size requirements are important in ordering this product. When inflated it almost choked me.

This was perfect for me, trying to first float on my own, then “baby” swim.🤷🏽‍♀️🤣 This jacket gave me the confidence I needed to get out in the pool & do it with no fear. The only thing that I had to figure out was how to make the jacket securely stay down, in place while in the water. I tried the leg straps & those didn’t quite work, so I took the waist strap and essentially made it fit kind of like a jockstrap & that did the trick!😁

I have come to prefer this type life-jacket over any other. The foam and per-inflated versions are far too bulky to paddle in, and the foam style have too much buoyancy at the back, which can try to roll you if the fit isn't perfect. I'd want something solid if I was deep water boating, but for coastal/lake/river, this is by far the preferred choice, as we will actually wear them.

I use the jacket when I am kayaking. I love that it can be worn deflated, so that as I'm paddling around I don't have a big, bulky, cumbersome buoy holding me back. A few deep breaths inflated it quickly when needed.
