I'm Dutch myself and I took this movie with me to watch it with my fiancée and is American. Yes the region thing on this DVD is annoying and they should just end that system.The best way to watch this movie is to snuggle up with your loved ones with hot choco and enough snacks to last the movie.I love to use kruidnoten, which is a cinnamon spiced treat we eat around these days.The title of this movie "Alles is liefde" means Everything is love

If you're Dutch or of Dutch descent you should see this movie. It's a romantic comedy that takes place during Sinterklaas.

Toller Weihnachtsfilm mit NL Kultur. Wer sich für die Niederlande Interessiert der sollt sich den Film unbedingt anschauen. Top Besetzung mit Carice van Houten und Jeroen Spitzenberger und auch Paul de Leeuw. In NL wird Sinter Claas gefeiert wie Weihnachten nur am 6. Dezember und immer in Begleitung von den Helfern , genannt Zwarte Piet. Die Deutsche Version , Alles ist Liebe erschien einige Jahre später und ist auch sehenswert .

If you've seen Love Actually then the best way to describe this film is to say that it's the Dutch equivalent that happens to be at least a million times better. Genuinely funny and entertaining and touching in equal measure, it provides a pretty special insight into the magic of life in Amsterdam around Christmas time. Great film, I watch it every year and still love it

Item arrived on time and in perfect conditionThe film itself is comical - as you would expect - it revolves around the Dutch celebrations on 6th December.Apart from the two central charecters, there is little that ties in with the original film, but it is no worse for that. If you like Love Actually you'll like this. More fun is to be had reading the poor English in the sub titles.A lovely Christmas film

Arrived quickly, great movie!

lot's of the jokes and plot line were lost because of the bad/inacurate/ridiculous english subtitles. Also, with about half an hour of the movie finishing the DVD stopped working so i guess i will never know the ending. Apart from that, excellent....
