We really like this teapot. Unfortunately after 6 month it cracked during use. I contacted the seller and they shipped a replacement out within 24 hours. Excellent customer service!

I was very particular about the tea pot I wanted and did a lot of searching to find this one. I love that you can use it with or without the tea infuser in it- that way you can still use flowering tea and show off the pretty tea expanding. The infuser is very fine so tea doesn't get through which is great. The infuser also goes very far down the pot so you don't have to fill the whole thing with water for it to work, it also has a handle on the infuser so that you can lift it out easily, and an extra tray for the infuser to sit in which wasn't included in the pictures. Such an elegant/classic design, works great on the stovetop (we have electric burner).My only negative point I would take half a star off if I could is that it does sometimes drip when pouring. At first I tried pouring at different speeds, I thought maybe I was pouring too fast, or the pot was too full, but now I find that if I hold down the lid while pouring it doesn't drip. Still a lot better than most things I've tried but I wish I was able to pour with one hand without it dripping every time.I always get compliments on it and am even buying one for my mother-in-law as a gift because she liked it so much (we're huge tea drinkers on a daily basis).

I've purchased 4 glass teapots in the last 7 months & recommend this $30 unit by Nest Above over the $17 - $20 imitators.First - the glass is thicker & more durable even at a full boil.Two - the spout is the right length to pour a cup from.After enduring then breaking the cheaper models, I gave this a try.Worth it for a real herbal tea enthusiast.UPDATE 3/4/22 - I bungled it & it busted against the floor, my fault. Nest Above provided a warranty replacement & it arrived today! Thank You Nest Above, love the teapot.

I purchased this because I wanted a combination teapot and tea kettle for my office. I did not want plastic or aluminum in my tea, so that ruled out most electric kettles. Samovars are nice but they're too expensive, not often wired for American outlets, and potentially messy. This kettle works great in combination with my electric hot plate/ burner Ovente Countertop Infrared Burner - 1000 Watts - 7 Inch Ceramic Glass Single Plate Cooktop with Temperature Control, Non-Slip Feet - Indoor/Outdoor Portable Electric Stove - Stainless Steel (BGI101S) . I keep the kettle on very low heat for several hours at a time. I was really worried that the glass would shatter or crack. I treat the kettle carefully and I have had no problems.A little bit about the kettle: I think the amount of liquid it holds is perfect for a large pot of tea. The steel parts come out of the pot. It is easy to clean. The handle does not get hot. It is easy to pour. The only potential drawback is that you need to have about 8oz of water in the kettle before it reaches the infuser. This is not really a drawback, in my view.

Really wanted a clear glass tea kettle, did a lot of research before buying this one, even after reading reviews of it cracking. Absolutely loved this product! Small enough that it doesn't clash with my kitchen decor. The insert is amazing, I enjoy loose leaf tea and it works perfectly without spilling out into the water. However, after 3 months it cracked at the handle while brewing a pot of tea! That could have been dangerous. So disappointed! I hope the company addresses why this happens, as I've seen a few reviews mention this same thing happening. I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately can't at this time. Not sure if I'll order a replacement as I'd be concerned that it will crack also.

Its a really cool teapot, but I expected the glass to be a little thicker. Most of it(including the spout) is only about 1mm thick. For the price I figure they could have made the glass a little bit thicker. I'm clumsy so I figure its only a matter of time until I break it, we'll see. The hinge on the flip top is really chintzy too, I don't expect it to last. It'll still be usable if the hinge fails though so no big deal.Even with the negatives I still really like it. The spout is well designed and you get no dribble down the side when you pour. The infuser has nice small holes that only let the smallest dust through and its easy to clean. The capacity is excellent. It can comfortably make about 4 cups of tea at a go. I wouldn't go with anything smaller than this.

We absolutely loved this tea pot as soon as we got it, and were using it for about 3 weeks until it developed a crack in the bottom of the pot rendering it useless. I believe its a great pot and that maybe ours had a blemish from when it was made. Still would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a cleaner healthy option for tea and hot water.

I have been looking for a glass teapot that I could use on a gas stove and this one has been very good. I’ve heated it to the point of boiling and the glass has held up no cracking or shattering. I’ve made several pots of tea I’ve use the blooming tea leaf. I haven’t had any problems with water boiling out of the spout and the teapot itself is very attractive. I rated the pot four stars because I did think that the pot was going to be slightly bigger but this pot is a decent size I can easily pour three full cups of tea with it. Overall I’m very pleased with it.

The lid came of the lever on second wash which was by hand. This is on top of the fact that part of the outer surface has powdery feel.I thought it was too good to be true.
