DHP Astoria Metal and Upholstered Daybed/Sofa Bed with Included Trundle, Twin Size Frame, Black

We bought this for our den to replace a large queen bed. Having the smaller bed saved us a lot of space in the room. It arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and all parts were included, even some spare parts as well. I actually over torqued one of the bolts and broke it, so it was nice to have an extra one in the bag! Overall, the assembly was not too hard and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took me about 90 minutes to assemble.Both the main bed and the trundle frame underneath are very sturdy and well designed. I like the look of the black metal frame as well as the leather on the sides and back.I highly recommend this bed!

My niece is using the bottom to store storage boxes with arts and craft to be able to hid away but also to have easy access to whatever she is looking for that does not have to be stored in a closet up top. Overall decent bed not too bad it really is not for no heavy set person. It’s sturdy, but not no limit sturdy. It was not too hard to put together, but the clips to attach each bar together for the mattress part was a tad bit hard. I’m sure someone can find an easier way. Had a few finger punches until we started using a hard flat surface object to push down then it was not so bad.

I’m actually pretty happy! It’s a pretty straightforward installation. The only downside is there are little gray clips to hold the slats in the frame better. Those are a NIGHTMARE putting in and my thumbs went numb from the force I had to use. Took longer to finish because of it, but at least I’m assure that they can’t fly off magically. I did use a wrench they provided and used the handle to lay flat and push them in. Doesn’t make much noise if at all. No missing pets, they provided plenty of extra screws etc plus wrench’s and Allen keys. Pretty happy with the build quality and I do think it’s a great value for the money. Looks wonderful.

Instructions made it easy to assemble. My son loves it and it’s the perfect size! Definitely worth the month and well made.

I purchased this bed for my 19 year old daughter and she loves it. I waited for some months to pass to no wire a review and it’s been about 6 months and the need is sturdy and in great shape so no complaints.

Okay I’m not going lie here anyone that said it takes 30 minutes to put together is lying it takes that long just to unwrap all the pieces from the box and lay them out. Then the directions are not so great. I’ve put together IKEA stuff and these directions are far better. I’d recommend having two people to hold one side while screwing in the other. It took me three hours from start to finish and that was without the trundle. Which I don’t need anyways. I’ll do that another day. I’m proud of myself for getting this done on my own. I bought a great mattress called Live and sleep they sell on Amazon and highly recommended. All foam and very comfortable. This is going in my enclosed sunroom where I watch movies and chill. Will put pictures up as well.

Love this trundle daybed. Looks fantastic assembled with daybed cover and throw pillows added. Friends put it together for me and they said it was easy to assemble. I like that it is metal, so (if ever needed) it can be taken apart and re-assembled without stripping wood (that can cause wobbling). The padding on the back and sides really add a lot to the look. I was concerned that it might be a bit too modern, but it is simple enough in design that the daybed cover and pillow accents can really transform it to almost any style.

First off, this is a great price for this type of bed. With that said, you get what you pay for. The bed looks nice, but it is cheap and wobbly. Time will tell whether it holds up, but I don't feel confident that it will last more than a year or so.
