we were trying to get a same book as my son's music teacher on edition 1 since there are difference in notes and song between these. Music teacher recommended to collect edition 1. But every time we are ordering expecting to get edition 1 as in the picture of the book there is no edition mentioned, but we were sent to have edition 2. This is the second time it happened. maybe there is no edition 1 available. There is no issue with the quality of the book. Just giving a moderate rating that the description of the book has details on the edition, and specially the front picture should reflect edition number for ease of buyers.

My wife asked me to order this set for her; she loved it! She showed it to her piano instructor and he loved it too! My wife is beginning to relearn how to play piano and this set really helps her with practice (last time she played was as a pre-teen).

This is a great curriculum and the last set of them I would use before completely transition them into something more mature and serious. They prepare the students to become comfortable in playing with various keys, and changing hand positions with larger leaps.

My son is working his way thru these books! I'm in awe of my 9yr olds skill obtained with this series. Recommended by his piano instructors.
