Unique taste/aroma (2022 harvest)
This review is for the 2022 harvest of which I've had a couple bags. Not very strong tasting but has a nice aroma, woody and honey-like when dampened with a little water. It is good by itself but makes a very good milk tea. Of course it is somewhat expensive but that should be expected it being grown in the USA. (Pictures show higher color contrast)

Nice tea
This really is good tea, I was pleasantly surprised. I am beginning to like loose leaf tea much better than the bags. The tea has a hint of spice. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it and you like tea.

Delicious and grown in US!
Visited the tea plantation several years ago and was really impressed with the products. All their teas are truly excellent. While a tad expensive, I think they are a good value for the money. We've started buying their breakfast and traditional blends as our go-to tea variety, second only to Twinnings. The leaves are large, which to my mind produces a milder, smoother tea. Love that these are a fully US product, but the main reason to buy is just the quality and flavor. Really excellent tea.

A good start
I tried this on a whim. Even though I can't live without my coffee, tea has become a side hobby of mine recently. I like a bold tea, and I thought it would be interesting to try a black tea grown in the U.S., presumably without a lot of harmful pesticides and whatnot. I will say, it's not 5 stars, but it's pretty good considering it's not from the hills of India (or China, or Sri Lanka, or Kenya, or Taiwan, etc.). When I brewed it, it had a nice aroma. The only problem is that the taste falls a little flat, or if you oversteep it, it gets a little bitter. The aftertaste is a little...grassy?...not in a bad way, just different. I wouldn't call it weak by any stretch, but I'd say it's more of a good, refreshing afternoon tea, rather than a bold English or Irish Breakfast that could take milk. I'm not big on iced tea, but I can see where this would be a good tea for that. It's worth checking out and supporting tea cultivation here in the U.S.

doesnt taste good
I have been buying this tea in the individual serving pyramid bags direct from Bigelow for over a decade. Though I could save a little money by buying the loose tea, since I always make a big pitcher anyway. Bigelow doesn't offer the loose tea. I don't know where this was from but surely not directly from the factory. What is always a delicious tea tasted like freezer burn. Then I smelled inside the package, and it also smells like freezer burn. I was way past the window of return when I finally used it so can only write this review and not order again.
