I've used the red-handled kitchenaid high-heat spatulas for years (and still love them). This one is a little better. The handle is more rigid. And the head is thicker and a little bit more sturdy. I prefer it for scrambled eggs or any kind of folding in of ingredients. If you need a spatula with more flexibility, this isn't it - stick with the kitchenaid.

I can make eggs so fast and efficient with this tool! I love and appreciated the heat resistance for fast cooking and not damage to the tool!

I wanted a really long silicon spatula for use on the grill/griddle. I don't need any more burned knuckles!Initially I wanted a one-piece molded unit, but this one works fine and seems to clean well. Haven't tried the dishwasher yet, and probably won't. But it hand washers just fine.It seems to be sturdy enough. But still has that silicone flexibility we are looking for.

These are a kitchen must have, believe me! I had one for the longest time, and then I went on a shopping spree and bought 3 more! Couldn't live without them!

Left in some tomato sauce and it does stain.Ran it though the dish washer a couple of times to remove stain. Otherwise chef approve (not me)

Quality - not flimsy. Cleans easily. The bottom has an unusual end that works well for muddling herbs. The handle looks dark brown, not black. The scraper is stiff not flexible.

The standard all others attempt to imitate. Used by professionals.

These spatulas have maintained themselves with heavy daily use. They have not melted anywhere and are a perfect firmness to scrape against surfaces. The handle and the scrapper part are sealed together so they clean really well. The only reason I rated it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because one of my spatulas stained about a month in.

Everything you could want in a spatula. Just enough flexibility, comfortable handle, heat resistant.
