it was a little different than I expected but in a very good way -- the best value i found in this book was not the review and outside commentary on Motherwells' thinking - but throughout the book there was mention of many of his favorite readings -- both art related and otherwise. I have since purchase three of the books mentioned and they were a great add-on in understanding his thinking and fleshing out the underpinnings of the movement he and his contemporaries were involved in.

Hello my books have been enjoyed and read and re read. The writting is tine but she refers to illistrations which are not included in the kindle version. If I had mnnown I would not have purchased
