KS2 Comprehension Book 2

This book has been a big leap compared to the style of books we’ve used.In all, it is exactly that, a book with texts and questions.Depending how much your child enjoys comprehension, it is either a hit or miss.There isn’t any colour, a few pictures and so seems like a dry book. However we are using it for a younger child (not year 4) so he will find this style a little different.The book itself is great. Text and questions as should be. Covers a lot of text from different angles, fiction, non fiction and poetry. There are a lot of well known authors in this book (Wilfred Owen, Arthur Conan Doyle). It is a nice book to introduce Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood and so on.For a younger audience it may seem quite difficult, but for recommended age range would be a good buy.

I bought more than 20 books for 11+,English, maths, grammar and punctuation, comprehension and others.As we have been in luck down and out tutor couldn't practice with them anymore these books have been our tutor and I reassure you worth every penny. The explanation are very useful and easy to use.Some of them comes with separate answers book but believe me worth every penny. I really recommend this company. Bought for my son. Annoying that you have to buy the answers separately.

I needed something extra to support my son's learning, especially comprehension and this hit the spot. It is somewhat hard and they do need to think out of the box as not all answers can be found in the text, ut it's good training for their brains. 4 stars because I do need to get involved and discuss answers with him. My son is Yr4.
